After the incident, the authorities were present at the scene to examine and clarify the cause of the incident. According to records, the "Crushed House Shop" is made mainly of wood. The eaves of the house are placed with concrete slabs by the owner. Before the incident happened, the "Crushed House Shop" was shared on social networks with a rather eye-catching scene. After the incident, the owner closed the shop and put up a temporary break sign.

For more information about the case, lawyer Hoang Van Linh (Dak Lak Provincial Bar Association) said that the competent authorities will investigate and verify to clarify the cause of the concrete slab falling on the teacher, leading to not passing. In case the competent authority finds that there is a violation in the process of designing and constructing Nha Bep café leading to non-compliance with regulations and quality of works, the case shows signs of violation of criminal law, then, the authorities will prosecute the criminal case and conduct investigation and clarification activities event.
