Lawyer Giang Hong Thanh (Lawyer defending Ms. Truong My Lan) has just submitted a request for handling violations of the Law on Cyber Security to the Department of Cyber Security and Crime Prevention using high technology - Ministry of Public Security. ; Department of Broadcasting, Television and Electronic Information - Ministry of Information and Communications Ho Chi Minh City People's Court, Supreme People's Procuracy and sent to the Investigation Police Agency (C03) - Ministry of Public Security.

In the application, Attorney Thanh stated that from March 5 to April 11, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court brought the case at Van Thinh Phat Group, SCB Bank and related units to first instance trial. Throughout the settlement process, all defendants and other participants in the proceedings had an attitude of respect and cooperation with the jury, Procuracy and professional units.

However, after the first instance trial, a clip appeared that incorporated and distorted the conversation between the presiding judge and Ms. Truong My Lan. That clip has now created a fever, even going viral, creating a search trend on social networking platforms.

According to Lawyer Thanh, even though it is a cut-and-paste clip, it was done meticulously and methodically; creates bad public opinion and reduces the majesty of the court.
