Truong My Lan only asked the jury to delineate the role between the defendant and relevant departments at SCB.

Defendant Truong My Lan also asked the JSC to acknowledge the defendant's willingness and personal commitment to put assets outside the list of disclosure to remedy the consequences of the case. "I have taken my problems seriously as a shareholder of SCB Bank. In court, I expressed respect for the testimony, even asked the Labor Council to mitigate the charges of the defendants who are employees at SCB and Van Thinh Phat Group... not crooked, blaming them. I would only like to consider my personal role at SCB Bank," Lan said.

The defendant admitted his role as a majority shareholder of SCB. Truong My Lan proposed to consider the defendant's participation in the restructuring at the request of the State Bank of Vietnam and asked to consider difficulties in the SCB restructuring process.

According to defendant Lan, for 10 years SCB did not use state money. Before the case, SCB was operating normally, investors had been constructing the Red Light Cape project...
