At 5:35 on the same day, the above house suddenly caught fire. Discovering the fire, the people inside the house and neighbors tried to put out the fire, but because there were many flammable items inside, the initial effort was unsuccessful.

The fire began to spread, heat and black smoke rising. Inside the house, 6 trapped people (including 3 young children, 1 girl and 2 elderly people) used some items to cover their noses to avoid inhaling toxic fumes and then ran to the 4th floor balcony to wait for help. support.

Upon receiving the news, the command center of PC07 Room received news of a house fire on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street and quickly dispatched many fire engines and dozens of soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire. According to information from the fire police, the fire occurred on the ground floor of the house. Many household items were burned with a fire area of about 21 square meters. The fire caused widespread power outages for about 15 minutes.
