A big fire started from a house in alley 47 Lac Long Quan Street, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City, leaving 8 people trapped and dead. Ho Chi Minh City Fire Department was quickly present to extinguish the fire.

According to information on Tuoi Tre Newspaper, around 5 pm on May 7, a big fire started from a house in Lac Long Quan alley, ward 1, district 11, Ho Chi Minh City, causing the house to burst into flames. fiery red flames billowing, columns of smoke rising tens of meters high.

According to records, at the time of the fire, 9 people were trapped in the house. People around tried to put out the fire on the spot but failed. Many people tried to find a way to save the trapped people, but due to the strong fire and heat, they were unable to save them.

"Seeing someone waving for help, but because the fire was so hot, I couldn't get in. The local functional forces also sealed off the area, unable to enter anymore," a resident near the fire said.

By 18:12, the fire was extinguished. Exploring the scene, the police discovered 7 dead people, of which 3 died on the ground floor, 4 people in the toilet on the 2nd floor. However, at 19:50, functional forces discovered another victim at the foot of the stairs, a total of 8 victims.

The fire occurred near the location of a secondary school at the end of school, causing students to panic. Local functional forces and traffic police were also present to separate and stabilize traffic.
