After extinguishing the fire, firefighters continued to spray water to cool it down and prevent it from flaring up again. Immediately afterwards, firefighters went into the kiosks to search for and extinguish the smoldering sources of fire.

Ms. H said that late on March 17, she was at home when she heard the sound of a fire truck siren. Then her daughter called to report a fire at the Thanh Da market kiosk, so she immediately ran to the scene.
"When I got there, the fire was raging, burning down my family's two kiosks. Seeing the fire engulf and destroy the stall that I had worked so hard for for 22 years, I was stunned and couldn't cry," Ms. H recounted.
Luckier than other vendors, Ms. T's toy kiosk (born in 1980) still has some goods left.
Last night, around 10pm, while closing the kiosk to leave, Ms. T smelled a burning smell, then she saw a fire break out. At that time, she called out to people around to find a way to put out the fire and move the property. At that time, many people helped, so Ms. T was able to move some of the goods out of the kiosk.
