According to this clip, after tourists leave money on the altar for the ceremony, someone will collect it and put it in the merit box.

However, instead of collecting money and putting it in the box, this person secretly stuffed it into the peeled cake box. The officer then took it back to the individual's bed and admitted to taking the above merit money so that the "brothers" could buy breakfast and dinner every day.

After receiving information, Hung Nguyen district leaders requested the Ong Hoang Muoi Temple Management Board to report information related to the incident, and at the same time requested the district police to verify and clarify the incident.

"The District People's Committee directs and assigns the Management Board to report back on the incident, and the District Police check to respond to press agencies as soon as possible. If there is a problem as reported by public opinion, We will have a solution to rectify and handle it immediately," Mr. Ha added.
