Recently, sharing with PLO, Diem My's parents said that they have persisted in looking for their daughter for the past 4 years. Every day, they wondered how Yan My was now, was she safe?

Doan Thi Tuyet Mai, Diem My's mother, shared that before her disappearance in the Penglai Pure House, Diem My was a smart and gentle student who helped her parents manage their business at home and had a younger brother.

Diem My told Mrs. Mai that there are very talented people here, and when you practice, if you are successful, you will take her with you.

"It's sad that Diem My believed in fantasies, even skipped the study abroad trip that her family had prepared," Mai said.

Mai said that in several clips on YouTube, Diem My spoke about her parents in an unfilial and untrue way, causing Mai and Vo Van Thang (Diem My's father) to feel shocked and hurt.

Mai recounted that, after a short time back home, Diem My ran away and has since had no contact with her family. She and her husband tried to find their daughter every way, but all efforts were in vain.

Mai and Vo Van Thang, Diem My's father, still hold out hope and forgiveness, hoping for their daughter's return. They sent an emotional message: "Even though you have made mistakes, your family is always willing to forgive. I'm just a victim of the Penglai Jing Retreat incident and we're still a family."

During her years of searching, Mai faced many difficulties and even illnesses, but her love for her daughter helped her overcome it. The family also hired detectives and turned to spirituality to search for Diem My.

"On 24/10/2019, my wife and I went to Penglai Tinh House to advise our son to return. However, as soon as I had some advice to tell her to return, the group of people in the retreat led my daughter away. A few days later, my wife and cousins went to the retreat to find Diem My, but this group of people found all kinds of excuses to stop and even falsely accused my wife and I of stealing the amount of VND 300,000,000 and demanding compensation.

In the years of searching for my children, I was many times exhausted, seriously ill and had to have blood transfusions at the hospital. There was a time when I thought I wouldn't survive. However, when I think of him, I still struggle. Because if I die, I'm worried that no one will be with you when you come back," Mai told Phap Luat newspaper.

Eventually, Mai appealed for help from the authorities to continue searching for Diem My's whereabouts in the hope that she would soon be reunited with her family.
