Grandson Phung D.K. just reunited with her biological parents 4 years ago, she passed away in a tragic accident that made many people sad.

On the afternoon of May 5, the leader of Tay Dang town, Ba Vi district, Hanoi city said that there had just been a tragic accident that killed three people. Accordingly, Ms. Phung Thi TH rides a motorbike with her two children, her granddaughter, Phung D.K. (SN 2012, formerly named Tran D.K.) and his nephew Phung QK (SN 2015) had a collision with a truck, causing all three deaths.

What makes relatives more painful is that Phung D.K. was reunited with his biological parents, Mr. S. and Ms. H. 4 years ago. K. is one of two children who were given the wrong family at Ba Vi District General Hospital since birth.

Mr. Tr. (Mr. S.'s brother, K.'s biological uncle) shared, after the sudden death of both his wife and 2 children, Mr. S. is in extreme pain. The family is very worried about Mr. S., family members are taking turns encouraging and taking care of him to overcome the overwhelming shock.

Mr. Tr. choked: "The phone informed me that a family member had an accident, I came home to find out that my sister-in-law and two grandchildren had both died. My parents just stopped waiting for the red light to have an accident, so sad."

Sharing more about the incident of giving the wrong child 4 years ago, Mr. said: "K. has just reunited with his family. She is very obedient and polite. At first, her sister-in-law quit her job to stay at home to take care of her two children, hoping to make up for the days when K. couldn't be with her parents.

The two children were mistakenly given and then played very well with each other. On holidays and Tet, their parents let them both meet. Sometimes I eat at my house, sometimes I go to the other family. Both parents accept their children as adopted and treat them as the children of both families.

Remember in 2018, Mr. Phung Giang S. submitted an application to the authorities to sue Ba Vi General Hospital about being returned the wrong child after birth.

In the application, Mr. S. presented that on November 1, 2011, Ms. H. gave birth to a son at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ba Vi District General Hospital. When the child was delivered, he and his wife suspected the wrong diaper of the child, so they asked the midwife again, but it was confirmed that it was "not wrong".

After being discharged from the hospital, Mr. S.'s family raised Phung Thanh H., but as he grew, the child had many points and features that were not like the couple.

Suspicious, Mr. S. took his son for a DNA test at the Institute of Criminal Science (Ministry of Public Security) for results that were not related to his and his wife's bloodline.

By May 2018, the Institute of Criminal Science confirmed that Phung Thanh H. was not the son of Mr. S. The boy was identified as having the same bloodline as Ms. Vu Thi Huong (Phu Son, Ba Vi, Hanoi). Grandson Doan Nhat M. (Huong is raising) has the same bloodline as Mr. S. and Ms. H.

On July 19, 2018, two children who were mistakenly handed over were officially returned to the arms of their biological families. Baby Doan Nhat M. was renamed Phung Dang K., and baby H. was changed to Doan Hai M.

The two families often meet, sharing stories in life. K. and M. see each other as brothers, every time they go out, they are attached.

According to Mr. Tr., baby K. when reunited with his biological parents, although he was still surprised, he adapted very quickly, happily and dynamically. "The child was obedient and polite, but unfortunately, my death made me very sad. Whenever I visit home, I take him out to play and buy gifts", Mr. Tr. pain.

The two children are commented to live emotionally, every holiday and Tet they go out and celebrate together. Both sides of the family also consider each child as a member of the family, adopted as an adopted child.

"I am so heartbroken and sorry for my daughter-in-law and two grandsons," said Ph. said and said that last night, the truck driver came to offer condolences to the family.

Talking about the incident of giving the wrong child 11 years ago, he said, two babies were born 15-20 minutes apart, one weighing 3.5kg, the other 3.8kg. After 6 years, they are returned to the correct family.
