The case of a wife 'punishing' her husband in Phu Tho: the perpetrator cried with regret and revealed the cause of the conflict

On the morning of August 23, the Phu Tho Provincial Police Department issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Ha Thi Lai Ha for 4 months. At the investigation agency, the perpetrator cried and revealed that the cause of the conflict that led to this tragedy was due to economic issues after a drinking session.

According to the initial investigation, the tragedy originated from a late-night party. On the evening of August 16, Ha and her husband, Nguyen Tien D., went drinking with friends. At around 0:20 a.m. the next morning, when the couple returned home, a conflict suddenly broke out. The two argued fiercely about economic issues, an invisible but constant pressure in the lives of many young families. The words exchanged exceeded the limit of tolerance, and in a moment of uncontrollable anger, Ha committed an irreparable act.

Horrific scene and endless pain of relatives

During the argument, Ha Thi Lai Ha used a fruit knife to stab her husband in the left side of his ribs. The fatal wound caused a lot of blood to flow, and Mr. D. held his wound and ran from the house to the yard to seek help. Ha chased after him with a knife but did not stab him again. When he arrived, he witnessed the tragic scene when everyone had taken Mr. D. to the emergency room, while Ha sat in the room with a dazed expression.
