According to Vietnamnet, today (5/2) the People's Committee of Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa) has directed relevant units to inspect and verify that the restaurant on Nguyen Thien Thuat Street, which was reported by a group of foreign tourists to have signs of "price increase" on the holiday.

According to Vietnamnet, outside the restaurant, the sign has been taken down and closed. Many people said that the removal of the signboard took place early this morning. Meanwhile, the authorities of Nha Trang City came to this restaurant to work related to the group of tourists accusing the restaurant of "slashin.g". The police also appeared here. The relevant professional unit is advising the People's Committee of Nha Trang City to establish an interdisciplinary inspection team for the above restaurant.

Below is a list of dishes that are priced "in the sky", such as 2 portions of grilled eggplant with onion fat costing nearly 3.8 million VND (1.89 million VND/portion); 2 plates of stir-fried morning glory with garlic 1 million VND (500,000 VND/portion); 2 portions of white rice 500,000 VND (250,000 VND/portion); beer and soft drinks are both priced at 100,000 VND/can... "It doesn't stop there, the total cost of food is 15,724,000 VND, but the restaurant continues to charge a surcharge of 4,717,200 VND on Tet, customers pay a total of 20,441,200 VND," the Facebook account wrote.

The reporter "slashe.d" and questioned why the restaurant could charge so much more for tourists right in the center of Nha Trang city. At the same time, it is suggested that everyone join hands to preserve the image of Nha Trang coastal city in the eyes of foreign tourists. In addition to posting the bill, the Facebook account also sent a status line in Chinese characters translated with the content: "The group was going to eat happily, but unexpectedly encountered a shady store".

In addition, according to the restaurant owner, white rice costs 250,000 VND, stir-fried morning glory 500,000 VND... is a meal for 20 people. The surcharge is more than 4 million VND for medicinal wine, beer and tea brought by customers into the shop, and the two parties have agreed on this surcharge in advance. Authorities are verifying and clarifying the incident.

According to Health & Life, related to controlling the sale of high prices to limit the impact on the tourism environment, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of the Department of Tourism of Khanh Hoa province shared, the local tourism industry constantly reminds tourism business units to list prices publicly, selling at the listed price as prescribed. "Not only reminding and propagating, we also organize regular dissemination of the law for tourism businesses," Ms. Thanh said.

According to Ms. Thanh, after the incident of A.B restaurant pushing prices with foreign tourists, the Khanh Hoa tourism industry recommends that establishments need to sell at the right price. If a violation is detected, it will coordinate with relevant units to rectify and handle immediately.
