Social media is buzzing with a clip of a group of young men harassing a girl. The girl is currently in a state of panic and does not dare leave her house even though the incident happened almost a week ago.
On February 19, a leader of the Hoang Mai District Police (Hanoi) said that the unit is urgently verifying the case of a girl being beaten by a group of men and women and forced to kneel and apologize. Previously, a clip was shared on social media recording the scene of the girl being beaten by a group of men and women. According to the Facebook account TTTT, the person beaten was her daughter, born in 2008, studying at a college in Hanoi.
According to Ms. T., this group also used helmets to beat her daughter and forced her to kneel down and apologize. The incident took place at night in a deserted area. After the incident, Ms. T.'s daughter suffered many injuries. According to the clip, when she was beaten, there were many cheers around, making the group of young men even more enthusiastic.
Notably, a girl with moss green hair dyed on her hair and face also affected many places on the girl's body. Not stopping there, the moss green haired girl also challenged "sue me...", then continued to attack the girl. Ms. T. added that the incident happened on the evening of February 15, but until now her daughter is still in pain and panic. The family continues to take the girl to the hospital for a health check.
Ms. TTTT (the girl's mother) said the incident happened on the evening of February 15. Ms. T's daughter had a conflict with another girl. After that, the other party called a group of about 40 people to drag her daughter to three different locations. Among them, about seven people, both male and female, acted a bit too much towards her daughter. "This group also forced my daughter to kneel down and apologize to each person, then beat her again."
"Right and wrong will be determined by law, whoever is at fault will have to bear the consequences, but as a mother, when I watched the video of my daughter being beaten, I couldn't watch more than 15 seconds. How could you have such an excessive impact on a daughter who was alone in a place with no one around?" the girl's mother shared.
The cause of the conflict is suspected to be jealousy, a girl asked Ms. T's daughter to go to Yen So Lake area, Hoang Mai district and then rushed in and beat her up. These people continuously hit the girl's body and hair. The family took the girl to the Post Office Hospital for examination, and at the same time reported to the Yen So Ward Police, Hoang Mai district. The authorities are investigating and clarifying the incident.
