According to the Quang Nam Provincial Police, the murde.r case occurred in early 2023. Recently, implementing the direction of the leaders of the Police Department on improving the quality and efficiency of the management and settlement of suspended cases and cases, Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Director of the Quang Nam Provincial Police, has directed the Provincial Police Investigative Agency to inspect, review related cases.

The results of the investigation determined that at about 22:05 on January 2, 2023, at To Thi Ty Na's house, Nguyen Van Hoang (SN 2017) was Na's biological chil.d who died in the toilet.
