MTQ sues Bap's mother over mone.y solicitation, shocking revelations revealed after 4 hours of working with the police

The Ninh Thuan Provincial Police Department has received a report of suspected profiteering from charity fundraising related to Bap's mother.

Specifically, on the afternoon of April 11, Ninh Thuan Provincial Police coordinated with Phuoc Nam Commune Police, Thuan Nam District to work with Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy (residing in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), who filed a complaint against Bap's mother for signs of taking advantage of charity.

Previously, VietNamNet's source confirmed that Ninh Thuan Provincial Police had received a report requesting prosecution if there were signs of crime, co-signed by Mr. Huy and several others.

The petitioners suspect that the mone.y raised by the community to support bab.y Bap (real name Minh Hai, a chil.d with cancer) has signs of irregularities and profiteering. They request the authorities to verify and clarify the motives of Ms. Le Thi Thu Hoa (bab.y Bap's mother).

Based on the receipt of the petition, on the afternoon of April 11, the police spent about 4 hours working to record the report of Mr. Huy - the representative in the petition - to serve the verification and handling work according to regulations.

Right after the meeting with the authorities, recently on his personal page, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy shared something that attracted attention.

"Everything needs a process and time to verify. During this time, I will not share any information about the issue related to the story of bab.y Bap's mother's family. I hope everything ends here. Whoever is wrong will be dealt with after the police investigation," said Mr. Huy.

This man also hopes that the online community should not lose their composure or share personal photos related to Bap's family, and should not incite or provok.e because the authorities have already intervened.

"Certainly this story of receiving charity mone.y will be clarified by the authorities as soon as possible," Mr. Huy added.

It is known that in 2024, Mr. Huy and other benefactors called for and raised charity donations for bab.y Bap. The mone.y was transferred to the Techcombank account of Ms. Le Thi Thu Hoa.

In addition, the case of bab.y Bap was also called for donations by social media channels through many different accounts, most notably through Tiktoker Pham Thoai with a donation amount of about 16 billion VND.

In February 2025, after information on the internet raised suspicions that Ms. Hoa had misused the mone.y donated by the community for bab.y Bap. To clarify the truth, Mr. Huy twice went to Ms. Hoa's hometown in Nho Quan village, Phuoc Nam commune.

Mr. Huy said that the truth in his hometown is far different from what Bap's mother said on social networks.

He affirmed that he did this not for personal gain, but only to clarify the amount of more than 10 billion that benefactors had donated to bab.y Bap in the past. During each trip, he livestreamed conversations with local people as evidence.

"I asked some neighbors and people in the same village as Ms. Hoa's family. Everyone said that this family is not isolated as she shared. Some people said that their family drives a car, buys a motorbike, lives in an apartment, buys land... Their life is very comfortable, very different from what Ms. Hoa posted online," Mr. Huy shared.

In the complaint, Mr. Huy presented a series of assets such as apartments, land, motorbikes, cars registered under the names of Ms. Hoa and her relatives, as well as mone.y deposit and gold purchase transactions... Mr. Huy said that the above information was confirmed, provided, and witnessed by local people and they were ready to be present when requested by the police.

In a related development, Ms. Le Thi Thu Hoa confirmed to VietNamNet reporter that her family representative also filed a complaint with the local police accusing Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy of making up stories to attract likes and views, affecting the honor and reputation of her and her family members.
