It is known that the cartilage porridge shop has been in business since 2017, open all day from 7am to 10pm. The shop is busiest at lunchtime from 11am to 1pm, serving rib porridge with pork floss and mushroom floss for 40,000 VND/bowl.
According to Dan Tri newspaper, Ms. C., the owner of the porridge shop, confirmed the above incident. At the time of the incident, she was not present at the shop, and everything was handled by a female employee named N.
When she learned that a fight had occurred at the restaurant, Ms. C. reviewed the surveillance camera to grasp the situation. According to the restaurant owner, based on the images and sounds on the camera, she determined that this was an unfortunate incident from both sides. The female restaurant owner also admitted that in this case, her employee had acted wrongly. However, she also hoped that the public would listen to both sides.
According to Ms. C., the female employee named N. has worked at the restaurant for 3-4 years. She assessed that the employee's personality is somewhat lacking in gentleness, sometimes a bit hot-tempered, but the restaurant has never had a similar incident before. The restaurant owner added that after the argument at the restaurant, the customer stood up and left without paying, so Ms. N. immediately chased after him. After that, the two had a personal confrontation outside the restaurant area, so Ms. C. did not catch on.
Currently, Ms. C. has fired Ms. N. and discussed with the restaurant's employees, considering this a big lesson for everyone to learn from and reflect on to avoid similar incidents. A representative of the Doi Can Ward Police said that they have received a report from a female customer about being "interacted" at the porridge restaurant. The authorities are collecting documents, inviting relevant parties to coordinate work, and from there, come up with a specific handling direction.
