Motel room fire at 2am leaves 3 people, suspected of emotional conflict

A fire broke out at dawn in a motel room, leaving many bewildered. Extinguishing the flames, the authorities found that 3 victims had no signs of life, including 2 females and 1 male.

By the morning of January 9, the police of An Khe town (Gia Lai) were still sealing off the scene, investigating the fire that killed 3 people at 308 Hoang Hoa Tham, An Tan ward (An Khe town).

Initially, at about 1:50 on the same day, people living around discovered that the motel room at the above address was on fire fiercely, so Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phi (born in 1996) reported to the authorities on behalf of the authorities.

Receiving the information, the An Khe Area Fire and Rescue Team (under the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Gia Lai Provincial Police) immediately dispatched 2 fire engines and 18 soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene.

About 20 minutes later the fire was essentially contained. During the search, the authorities found that 3 victims in the toilet had stopped breathing, including: N.T.T.V (born in 1979, in group 1, An Phu ward, An Khe town), T.T.K.H (born in 2009, in group 1, An Phuoc ward, An Khe town) and N.T.T (born in 1973, HCMC Pleiku, Gia Lai).

The fire department then took 3 remains out to hand over to local authorities. It is known that the site of the fire is a 10-room hostel owned by Mr. N.M.H.

The burnt room is located at the beginning of the range, adjacent to Hoang Hoa Tham street, with an area of about 20m2. In addition to 1 electric bicycle, 1 motorbike and other furniture, many clothes for sale during Tet were burned.

According to Tien Phong, a police officer said that the initial cause was determined that the fire was related to a love conflict. Currently, the incident is still being investigated by the authorities of An Khe town.

Related to the shocking case that occurred in Hoc Mon district (Ho Chi Minh City), the suspect who killed 1 person is being hunted by hundreds of police in Long An.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors determined that the suspect who committed the murder and then fled and hid in a dense field in Ben Luc district (Long An) is Nguyen Thanh Tam (born in 1997, permanent resident of Ben Đò 1 hamlet, Tan Phu Trung commune, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City).

On the night of January 8, hundreds of police officers, soldiers and sniffer dogs tried to search but so far the whereabouts of this particularly dangerous object have not been discovered.

It is worth mentioning that the forest suspected of hiding is hundreds of hectares and dense, the terrain is very complicated, so the working groups have to constantly change plans and take turns working.

As noted by the reporter, outside the field, along the inter-hamlet 7 route, local police forces, civil defense and traffic control set up checkpoints, surrounding a radius of more than 4km of the area in Luong Hoa commune (Ben Luc district, Long An).

The search area adjacent to hamlet 7 and hamlet 8 (Luong Hoa commune) is mainly planted with melaleuca, lemon, guava, coconut ... and many overgrown weeds, so tracing them was difficult.

Authorities and local authorities have propagated as well as posted images and identity characteristics of suspects for people to take precautions and promptly notify the authorities when detecting suspects.

At the same time, officials and soldiers also used drones and mobile loudspeakers to call on Nguyen Thanh Tam to surrender soon to enjoy the leniency policy of the law.

In addition, the commune authorities also asked people in the area to check from January 6 until now whether they have lost clothes, shoes, knives ... or whether the family's farm tools or not, if any, urgently notify the commune police so that they can capture information.

However, as of 7am this morning (9/1), after nearly 70 hours of searching, the suspect who worked as a female café employee left, robbed in Hoc Mon district, (Ho Chi Minh City) was still "soundless". By 10:40 a.m. on the same day, police had arrested the subject.
