From September 30 to October 1, Mr. Khang sent a team of school staff to Lang Nu, visited families with lucky children who survived the terrible flood, went to the hospital where they are being treated, and went to each school where Lang Nu students are studying to share their thoughts. love from teachers and students of Marie Curie School. On the afternoon of October 1, the list that Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khang was waiting for was completed with 22 children, ranked in order of age from small to largest. The two youngest children are both in a 3-year-old kindergarten class. The 3 oldest children are all in grade 12 at Bao Yen District, including Nguyen Van Hanh, the first student he adopted in September to prevent the thought of "dropping out of school to make a living when he is left alone in the world" which he shared in a TV report of Thanh Nien Newspaper.

The list of each child is made by a survey conducted by Marie Curie School staff with detailed and specific information. Looking at each survey, it is possible to imagine the identity and situation of each child today.

Sharing more on Thanh Nien newspaper, teacher Nguyen Xuan Khang said: "With complete, specific and accurate information about the children, I officially "adopt" the children from now until the end of 18 years old, by sending each child 3 million VND per month to study. The project starts from October 2024 until 2039, 15 years."

According to the calculations of the leader of Marie Curie School, the project could end in 15 years because the youngest children on the list will turn 18 years old, and he will turn 90. "Now I'm the one who wants to live the most! " The "grandfather" of the 22 children of Lang Nu hopes to live at least another 15 years to see all the children grow up," Mr. Khang choked up.

But he also immediately said: "Even though the "grandfather" has to go away, the children are still prosperous and educated as he wanted when he decided to adopt them. His family and Marie Curie School will continue to fulfill that wish."

Receiving "raising" each child, with teacher Nguyen Xuan Khang, is not only sending the children an amount of money every month to cover their education, but also monitoring and promptly supporting them throughout the process of growing up. Therefore, the list does not only have names, schools, information on relatives, sponsors... of each child, but also the name and contact information of their homeroom teacher.

According to Mr. Khang, in addition to the children's relatives, the homeroom teacher is the person he will have to "rely on" to know how the children grow, learn and mature. Teachers are the closest and closest people when they are at school.
