This phenomenon has the risk of affecting households living in Hop Thanh village, Phung Giao commune, especially 4 households/19 people living right on the left bank of the canal (opposite the landslide) and people and vehicles when participating in traffic along the canal.

Landslides in this area still tend to be complicated and unpredictable, especially when heavy rain occurs.

In Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has announced an emergency situation of landslide in the area of Nhu Xuan Secondary and High School, Thanh Quan commune.

Prolonged heavy rain caused a landslide incident on the hill behind Nhu Xuan Secondary and High School, Nhu Xuan district, causing the retaining wall of the taluy roof to slip and break about 50m, the landslide touched the base of the wall behind the multi-purpose house and a 2-storey classroom house.
