Landslides in this area continue to develop in a complex and unpredictable manner, especially when heavy rain occurs.
In Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced an emergency situation of landslides in the area of Nhu Xuan Secondary and High School, Thanh Quan commune.
Prolonged heavy rain caused a landslide behind Nhu Xuan Secondary and High School, Nhu Xuan District, causing the retaining wall of the slope to slide and break about 50m, the landslide reached the foot of the wall behind the multi-purpose building and the 2-storey classroom building.
