In recent days, information about charity and relief for people affected by storms and floods has received a lot of attention from the online community. In particular, "boss" Mailisa has recently received a lot of praise for her charity journey.
Not outside the spirit of "mutual love" this year, businesswoman Mailisa (Phan Thi Mai, owner of a famous chain of beauty salons of the same name) decided to go to the place and hand over 3 billion VND in cash and 50 tons of rice to those in difficult circumstances.
"My boss Mailisa" shared on her personal page: "Mailisa donated 4 billion for the Northern storm and flood (storm No. 3 Yagi), specifically 3 billion in cash and 50 tons of rice will be contributed and given directly to the people of the Northern provinces, the destinations include 5 provinces: Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang.
Although the gifts are small, they are the heart of Mai Khanh and his wife to encourage the people to stabilize their lives soon after the storm and flood. Everyone, please remember to follow and support the spirit to motivate Mai Khanh and his wife and the staff to succeed in this charity trip!"
At the same time, the businesswoman shared clips recording this volunteer journey, attracting millions of views and comments on TikTok. She humorously shared that she asked the driver to take her and the members to the crane, the crane went through the swamp to reach the relief site in time.
Many people were surprised and also praised the businesswoman. Because, in the rain, floods and slippery roads, money carefully stored in a suitcase will ensure safety and avoid damage. Moreover, this also makes transportation easier. According to this businesswoman, she brought an additional 1 billion in cash because of the extra expenses, increasing the initial charity amount from 3 billion to 4 billion.
"Boss" Mailisa also said that she donated 1 billion VND to the people in remote areas who suffered damage due to storm No. 3 in Lang Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province. Specifically, in her post, the owner of the Mailisa beauty salon chain said:
"39 households had their houses leveled by flash floods and landslides, some lost relatives, even some families lost up to 5 people, each household will be given 20 million in cash, a total of 780 million. Another 222 million will be given to 370 poor people who were damaged by natural disasters and floods, each household will receive 600,000 VND.
Although this is a small gift, it is the sentiment that Mai Khanh and his wife want to send to the people so that they can have a little extra money to overcome and stabilize their lives after the terrible storm and flood have passed.
Only when you witness it can you feel compassion, pity and pain. I just hope that the people are healthy, escape poverty, and soon stabilize their lives after the storm and flood pass. I always love you very much."
Many people also praised Mailisa for her simplicity, cuteness and friendliness. Moreover, she did not mind the long distance, traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to the northern provinces, to each place to give both material gifts and spiritual encouragement to the people.
She also said that although the journey was difficult and tiring, she and her staff only thought about the people in need and tried their best. Sharing in the comments section, this businesswoman also added that she, her husband and staff are continuing the journey to each place, surveying each location to give the most appropriate and practical gifts.
Previously, Mailisa was also famous for her volunteer activities in her hometown and in disadvantaged areas across the country. Most notably, the 70 billion VND Zero-cost Kitchen project was built in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, this 7X-born businesswoman is also famous on social networks, with a TikTok channel of more than 2.3 million followers, with clips sharing about charity, business and especially the clip of employees singing happy birthday to their boss "my boss Mailisa" which went viral.
