According to Lao Dong newspaper, Mr. Pham Duc Vinh - Principal of Phuc Khanh Primary School No. 1 (Bao Yen district, Lao Cai) said that the school has been receiving help from many individuals and organizations. This school has just lost 13 children and 7 are still being treated at the hospital.
The 7 lucky survivors who are in the hospital for treatment have all become orphans. Most of them are children who have lost both parents, even some have lost their entire families, brothers and sisters.
"Typhoon Yagi has devastated a lot of school facilities and people. But the facilities can be overcome, and the loss of people does not know how long it will take to be relieved," Dan Tri newspaper quoted Mr. Vinh as saying.
According to Mr. Vinh, currently, the boarding of Lang Nu students at the school has been smoothly implemented. The children are at school from Monday to Friday, and go home with their families on weekends.

This area is designed in the traditional style of the Tay people, with a system of houses, roads, schools, cultural houses and a synchronous electricity and water system, helping to ensure a stable life for the people.
