Tiktoker Yuki suspected of using fake university degree for beauty promotion: Department of Health gets involved

On April 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced a response from the press regarding the case of a social media account named "Yuki" using a graduation certificate image suspected to be fake.

On April 18, the Department of Health Inspectorate coordinated with the District 3 Health Department and Ward 5 Police, District 3 to inspect Iris Premium HDC Company Limited, located at 414 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 5, District 3. The director of this company is Mr. TMN.

Through the process of inspection and verification, the authorities determined that Ms. D.TPT is the President of Iris Premium Company Limited, a unit previously licensed by the Department of Health to operate a dermatology clinic at the above address. However, this clinic is currently inactive because the company has been dissolved.

Regarding the image of the suspected fake Nursing College diploma, Ms. D.TPT admitted to using two social media accounts, "D.PT" and "Yuki". However, she denied that the image of the diploma circulating on social media, which she introduced herself as, was a fake diploma from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City.

To clarify the suspicion, the Department of Health looked up information on the official website of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy and found no information about the diploma bearing the name of Ms. D.TPT.

The Department of Health has sent a document requesting the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Ho Chi Minh City to assist in verifying the authenticity of this diploma. When there is an official result that the diploma is fake, the Department of Health will transfer the entire case file to the Ho Chi Minh City Police to coordinate the investigation and handle it in accordance with the provisions of law.

In the immediate future, the Department of Health Inspectorate will strictly handle illegal advertising in the medical field against Iris Premium HDC Company Limited and Ms. D.TPT for violations in the medical field. At the same time, the Department of Health decided to temporarily suspend the process of granting a license to operate a specialized Dermatology clinic for this facility (currently, Iris Premium HDC Company Limited is in the process of applying for a license) until the case is resolved.

This female Tiktoker once attracted attention when she shared the story of why she chose to send her chil.d to a public school instead of an international school.

It is known that since her chil.d entered secondary school, she transferred her chil.d to a public school. The reason is because she wants her chil.d to learn the history and culture of the nation, and to speak her mother tongue fluently... International schools do not teach Vietnamese history, so children who attend will lack some knowledge about their origins and backgrounds.
