At the same time, the police temporarily granted bail to the family for 2 other people, Ngo Van Rang and Huynh Ngoc Hung.
According to the investigation of the police agency, Tuan is in business, selling clothes online on TikTok. In early 2024, Tuan created a TikTok account for business purposes, selling clothes online but with little capital. After that, Tuan got to know Quyet and Xuan.
Through the exchange, Quyet and his wif.e agreed to support Tuan to start a business, the profit was agreed to be divided 50/50; joining him was also Khoa who is Tuan's frien.d.
Recently, Tuan's sales TikTok channel has not had much interaction, so Tuan came up with the idea of filming a clip of 4 people in black carrying coffins in a street parade, attracting attention and advertising sales. With the consent of Quyet and his wif.e, Tuan sought to hire someone to do it.
Tuan's group contacted the coffin camp in Long Trach commune (Can Duoc district, Long An province) to meet Tham and buy 1 coffin for 3.5 million VND and hire Tham to repaint the black coffin.
At the same time, Tuan hired Tham and 4 other people chosen by Tham to carry the coffin, record a clip for 500,000 VND/person.
At the end of January, Tuan's group went down to the box camp, pasted decals on 2 sides of the coffin and sent it back, asking Tham to keep it, when to shoo.t the advertisement, it will be brought to Ho Chi Minh City. HCM. This group continued to contact the studio to take photos, record clips and rent 2 photo samples.
The whole group agreed that the date of taking photos and filming the clip was 25.2 on Huyen Tran Princess Street (District 1).
At 10 o'clock on February 25, Tham and Hung Cuong, Quoc Cuong, Son and Nghia drove a car with license plate number 51B - 500.76 to carry the coffin to Tuan. Tuan brought 5 jackets with designs that needed to be advertised for this group to wear to carry the coffin and take photos.
At 14 o'clock on the same day, Tuan asked Tham and Shen's people to carry the coffin on Huyen Tran Princess Street and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street to record the clip.
However, after that, Tuan saw that the clip was not satisfactory, so he continued to call the group of people to the area in front of Ben Thanh market (Ben Thanh Ward, District 1) to continue recording.
At 15 o'clock, this group wore black shirts, carried coffins and walked under Le Lai Street and some roads in front of the Ben Thanh market area. After filming the clip, this group took the coffin to Long An for storage.
On March 1, Tuan edited clips and images and then posted a clip of 4 people carrying coffins on his TikTok account to attract views and advertise the sale of shirts.
Ho Chi Minh City Police Ho Chi Minh City determined that the clip had attracted a large number of viewers, press agencies to express their frustration, indignation, and offensive advertising. According to police statistics, as of 4 o'clock on March 3, the post had 8,185 likes, 925 comments, 366 video saves, and 4,127 shares.
The investigation agency assessed that the act of filming clips and carrying coffins in a parade on a crowded street had a bad impact on security and social order.
Tuan and his accomplices organized video recording, editing and posting with personal accounts on the TikTok social networking platform with a particularly large number of followers, comments and interactions, causing a bad influence on public opinion.
Therefore, the behavior of the above group of people has signs of the crime of disturbing public order.
