Regarding the incident in which a man in Quang Binh was "physically assaulted" at his home, the authorities summoned 7 people, all from Liem Tien village, Ngu Thuy commune, to come in for questioning. Initially, these 7 people admitted their actions.

On the morning of October 14, the police of Ngu Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province announced that they had summoned 7 people involved in the social disorder incident that occurred at the house of Mr. Ngo Van Lu (55 years old, in Thuong Bac village) as reported by Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper.

Mr. Ngo Van Lu was "physically attacked" by a group of people and was hospitalized after he wrote a poem and posted it on Facebook, attracting great public attention.

After the investigation, Ngu Thuy Commune Police summoned 7 related subjects. This group of people all lived in Liem Tien village, not far from the house of the beaten person.

At the police station, the suspects admitted their actions and said that the main reason for the incident was because Mr. Lu's poem was posted on Facebook, which made them "feel offended." Out of anger, the group drove to Mr. Lu's house to ask him to remove the post.

At Mr. Lu's house, an argument broke out between the group and Mr. Lu. Then the group attacked Mr. Lu to teach him a "lesson", resulting in injuries.

The case has been transferred to Le Thuy District Police for handling and investigation.

As for the person who was beaten, Mr. Lu is still being treated in the hospital, unable to sit up or go to the bathroom by himself. Doctors determined that Mr. Lu suffered lung damage and suspected hematoma in his head.

As Dan Tri reported, on the evening of October 10, Mr. Ngo Van Lu was having dinner at home when a group of about 8 people, traveling in 2 cars, rushed in and "physically impacted" him.

This group of people beat Mr. Ngo Van Lu until he fell unconscious on the spot, while Mr. Lu's wife promptly ran out to the yard to call for help. At this time, the group of people dragged Mr. Lu's legs out to the front porch and continued to beat him.

When they saw the neighbors running over, these people stopped and then got in their car and left the scene. Mr. Nguyen Van Lu was then taken to Hue Central Hospital in a state of consciousness and unconsciousness, with injuries all over his body.

Speaking to Thanh Nien newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Quang Kien, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ngu Thuy Commune, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Farmers' Volleyball Tournament of Ngu Thuy Commune, said that the tournament went smoothly in the qualifying round, but in the Quarterfinals (including 8 teams) scheduled to compete on the morning of October 10, there was an incident.

Accordingly, the team of the Farmers' Association of Liem Tien village was scheduled to play the first match in the Quarterfinals, but this team refused, wanting to play the second and third matches. The argument was very noisy and showed signs of disorder, the commune police had to intervene. The teams and the people disbanded themselves because they felt unsafe, and the tournament was considered to have collapsed from there.

That same afternoon, the Organizing Committee sat down with the teams that made it to the Quarterfinals and announced the suspension of the tournament, hoping for everyone's understanding and not to discuss or provide any further information. Mr. Kien did not expect that the situation would later escalate to the point where someone was beaten and hospitalized.
