On November 16, the People's Court of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City opened a first-instance trial of the case of public disorder for defendant Nguyen Xuan Huong Trang (Trang Nemo) and accomplices.

The same defendants were brought to trial including: Pham Quyen Quy, Nguyen Ngoc Khuong (both 23 years old); Nguyen Phuoc Tuan (31 years old) and Phan Hoang Nam (24 years old).

At the trial, the jury asked the defendants if they really showed remorse and apologized to the victim - Pham Le Khanh?

On behalf of the defendants, Trang Nemo turned to the victim Pham Le Khanh and said that this was an event no one wanted. Right at this trial, the defendant wanted to send a sincere apology directly to Ms. Khanh.

At the trial, the Procuracy proposed the jury to sentence defendants Nguyen Xuan Huong Trang, Pham Quyen Quy and Nguyen Ngoc Khuong to sentences of 6-12 months in prison; defendant Phan Hoang Nam was sentenced to 12-18 months in prison and Nguyen Phuoc Tuan was sentenced to 9-15 months in prison.

However, the trial panel said that this case had many complicated details, so it needed a lengthy deliberation. Therefore, the trial panel issued a notice of decision until 2pm on November 22 to pronounce the sentence.

According to the representative of the Procuracy, defendants Trang, Quy, Khuong, and Tuan committed their first crime, in less serious cases, these are mitigating circumstances for the accused.

Particularly, defendant Trang is raising a c.hild under 36 months is also a mitigating circumstance of criminal responsibility. In addition, the defendants all repented, so they asked the jury to consider mitigating.

It is known that Trang is the owner of Trang Nemo shop on Nguyen Trai Street, Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1. Due to a conflict in the online sales business, Trang and Tran Nguyen Tra My had a conflict, arranged to settle at shop.

Around 2:45 p.m. on January 16, My, Pham Le Khanh, and Tran Thi Hoang Yen went to Trang Nemo store. Then, My and Yen entered the store to apologize, while Khanh stood outside.

At about 3pm on the same day, My was apologizing to Trang when Khanh entered the store to call My back, so there was a conflict between Khanh and Trang.

According to the conclusion of the forensic examination, Khanh suffered from multiple soft-tissue injuries, scattered swelling and bruises on various parts of the b.ody, the rate of b.ody damage caused by injuries was 3%, but Yen did not record any injuries.

At the police station, Trang, Quy, Khuong, Tuan and Nam admitted their actions.

On April 20, the District 1 Public Security Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused against Trang, Quy, Khuong, Tuan and Nam for causing public disorder.
