Overturning Quang Linh's Sisters group, discovering something too shockin.g!

On the evening of April 4, at the press conference in the first quarter, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, said that the Investigating Police Agency had prosecuted the case of Counterfeit Manufacturing that occurred at Asia Life Company and Sister Roat Company.

According to research, CER Group Joint Stock Company (CER Group) was born on November 5, 2024, headquartered in Thu Duc City (Ho Chi Minh City).

When it was first established, CER Group had a charter capital of VND 5 billion with 6 founding shareholders, including: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thai Hang, i.e. Hang Du Mu contributed capital of VND 1.25 billion (rate of 25%); Mr. Le Thanh Cong contributed 950 million VND (19%), Mr. Le Tuan Linh contributed 750 million VND (15%); Mr. Pham Quang Linh, namely Quang Linh Vlogs, contributed 683.5 million VND (13.67%); Mr. Tran Chi Tam contributed 683.5 million VND (13.67%); Ms. Pham Thi Nhat Le (sister of Quang Linh Vlogs) contributed 683 million VND (13.66%).

According to published information, Mr. Le Tuan Linh (SN 1989) is the director and legal representative of CER Group. CER Group's main business registration business is the production of movies, video films and TV shows.

Notably, after only one month of operation, the enterprises of Hang Du Mo and Quang Linh Vlogs have increased their charter capital from VND 5 billion to VND 15 billion, but did not disclose details about the new capital contribution structure.

For Asia Life - a company that produces Kera vegetable candies according to CER Group's "orders", data from the national business registration system shows that this company was established in early 2022, headquartered in Ea Tu commune in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province. Asia Life registers 35 industries but the main field is food and food production health protection products. Asia Life's initially registered charter capital is VND 9 billion.

On its website, Asia Life introduces itself as the first GMP-certified factory in Dak Lak; there are partners from the US, Korea, Japan, France; owns 2 factories with an area of 2,000m2 and a raw material area of nearly 300 hectares in Dak Lak, Lam Dong. This is a unit specializing in the production of health supplements, supplements and developing new products according to the method of manufacturing and labeling another company's trademark on its own products/designing and manufacturing products under another company's brand (OEM/ODM).

Bluffing

In November 2024, Asia Life signed a cooperation agreement and produced Kera vegetable candies under the order of CER Group. In particular, the entire formula for creating products is given by CER Group.

From the end of last year to February this year, CER Group started a campaign to promote Kera vegetable candy at a price of 150,000 VND/jar of 30 tablets on all social media platforms. In particular, Quang Linh Vlogs, Hang Du Mu and Miss Thuy Tien continuously organize livestream sessions on Tiktok to introduce and flatter this product with popular sentences such as: A candy equal to a plate of green vegetables; products can replace green vegetables in meals...

According to data from the authorities, from December 12, 2024 to March 19 this year, CER Group has sold more than 135,320 Kera vegetable candies to the market, estimated to earn more than VND 20 billion.

In February, the image of Kera vegetable candy appeared on China's 1688 platform, in which a jar of 30 tablets has a wholesale price of 11 yuan, equivalent to 38,000 VND, applicable to customers ordering from 100 boxes and not including shipping fees, supporting the form of OEM if customers request.

At that time, CER Group confirmed that it was illegally used product images on the sales platform in China, then the vegetable candy product on the 1688 platform disappeared inexplicably.

According to a survey by PV Tien Phong on the domestic and foreign functional food processing market, on average, a vegetable candy product similar to Kera vegetable candy only costs from 20,000 to 25,000 VND/jar of 30 tablets with an order from 5,000 bottles, if the order is over 5,000 bottles, the price is only about 17,000 - 18,000 VND/jar of 30 tablets.

Receiving "bitter fruit"

Because the advertising effect of Kera vegetable candy is so loud with divine uses, a consumer brought the candy to be tested and the results showed that the fiber content in the product was much lower than what was advertised. From here, suspicions about poor and untrue products began to erupt, causing CER Group to organize a press meeting to apologize and confess about the incident. However, when trust is lost, nothing can save the case because the authorities have continuously verified and investigated the company's activities.

On March 24, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety issued a decision to sanction CER Group administrative violations of 125 million VND for 2 violations related to Kera vegetable candies distributed by the company. The first is the production, transportation, storage and trading of goods with labels not in accordance with regulations; testing products containing sorbitol but not showing on the product label as prescribed. The second is the production, trading and circulation of food on the market with nutritional value that is not in accordance with the information about the product that has been announced by the company itself.

On April 3, the National Competition Commission - Ministry of Industry and Trade fined CER Group an additional 80 million VND and required the company to correct inaccurate information about Kera vegetable candy products. This agency also fined Ms. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Thuy Tien) 25 million VND for failing to notify consumers in advance that she was sponsored to provide information about products, goods and services.

The Investigating Police Agency has prosecuted the case of "Counterfeit Manufacturing" and "Deceivin.g Customers" that occurred at Asia Life Company and Sisters Group Company that occurred in Ho Chi Minh City and Dak Lak. After the investigation process, the Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute the accused and temporarily detain 5 individuals who played a key role in property activities producing, distributing and promoting Kera vegetable candy products - products that are accused of exaggerating the uses, misleading and deceivin.g consumers, including Pham Quang Linh (i.e. Quang Linh Vlogs) and Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (or Hang nomad), SN 1995, Chairman of CER Group.
