According to information in Tuoi Tre newspaper, Page Nemo has argued for a suspended sentence after being sentenced to 9 months in prison during the first trial. Nemo says his conscience has been tormented for the past 2 years.

"I ask you, if your chil.d makes a mistake the first time, do you send him away, or deter him from teaching for the better? I committed a crime for the first time, I had young children, created jobs for many others, but was it too harsh? If I go to jail, my employees are unemployed, theft, who is responsible? There are a lot of people behind me who need me. It's okay for me to go to jail, if I go to jail, how can I fix it.

The council said that the incident of Trang and his co-defendants disrupting public order caused disturbance and disorder in the locality.
