Thai Binh: Summoned and punished a bus employee who "tigerously" threatened a female passenger

Regarding the incident in which a bus employee threatened and insulted a female passenger, Thai Thuy District Police (Thai Binh) summoned and fined the PTT, a bus employee in the clip posted on social media.

According to VTC News, the leader of Thai Thuy District Police (Thai Binh) said that the unit had summoned an employee of Tai Tuan bus company running the Thai Binh - Binh Phuoc route for threatening a female passenger when she wanted to get off the bus. This employee was punished for administrative violations.

The person summoned is Deputy Prime Minister (born in 1974, residing in Thai Thinh commune, Thai Thuy district), a bus employee in the clip posted on social media.

"The incident did not happen in the district, but after receiving the information, we investigated and asked the bus company to make a statement. We also reported the incident to our superiors," said the leader of Thai Thuy District Police.

Based on collected documents and evidence, on August 22, Thai Thuy District Police made a record of administrative violation against PTT for the act of "Threatening and insulting passengers" as stipulated in Article 31 of Decree 100 of the Government (regulations on administrative sanctions in the field of road and railway traffic). The fine is 1.5 million VND.

Previously, on August 28, Thai Binh Provincial Police said that Thai Thuy District Police had just verified and clarified information that an employee of Tai Tuan bus company running from Thai Thuy District (Thai Binh Province) to Binh Phuoc Province had threatened, insulted, and "influenced" a female passenger when she wanted to get off the bus.

The information line "Tai Tuan bus company - Thai Thuy - Thai Binh... The bus assistant used "continuous kicks" on a female passenger after the passenger wanted to get off the bus..." was shared rapidly on social networks. Public opinion strongly condemned the behavior of the male employee of Tai Tuan bus company. This incident was previously posted on social networks and attracted public attention.

Immediately after receiving information about the incident, the leaders of Thai Binh Provincial Police directed Thai Thuy District Police to verify and clarify the case for handling in accordance with the law.

Accordingly, Thai Thuy District Police summoned and questioned Mr. PTT (50 years old, residing in Thai Thinh Commune, Thai Thuy District), the bus employee in the clip posted on social media.

In early 2024, a passenger assault incident also caused a stir in public opinion, shared on social networking forums. Accordingly, on the Facebook group "Xe tien truyen Quang Ninh", an account named Bach Thi D. shared a picture of a car with license plate 14B-042.xx, along with a woman with scratches on her neck.

Along with that, there are accusations that this bus company "overcharges" passengers, and when passengers do not agree, they act like thugs, chasing them down the middle of the highway. In addition, when they discover that passengers are taking pictures of the bus, the driver "physically impacts" the photographer.

The above information has received hundreds of comments and shares after appearing. Most of the opinions are outraged by the above bus company's actions of chasing passengers down the middle of the road and "physically impacting" people. At the same time, the online community hopes that the authorities will soon step in to clarify and handle the bus company if it violates.

According to information from vehicle registration data, the owner of the car with license plate 14B-042.xx is VTT (residing in Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province).

The maximum number of people allowed on the vehicle is 10, however, this vehicle is not registered for transportation business and does not have a journey monitoring device installed. This car was inspected on November 3, 2023, and the inspection p.eriod is until May 2, 2024.

Regarding this incident, Major General Dinh Van Noi - Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police - said that he had directed and assigned the Criminal Police Department to coordinate with relevant units to investigate the content of the reflection on Facebook about a bus company running the Quang Ninh - Hanoi route "overcharging" passengers, when passengers did not agree, they were abandoned in the middle of the road, and even "physically impacted" passengers.
