The girl who owns the coffee shop shared that she and her boyfriend (the person who invested in opening the shop) originally met through a dating app. However, she realized that this form of online meeting and dating also has certain risks. From there, the couple came up with the idea of opening such a dating cafe so people could come and meet for purposes such as finding a lover, exchanging languages or finding someone to play sports with.. .

This cafe is inspired by a form of coffee originating from Japan called "Deai kissa". The co-owner of the shop said that initially they planned to make 2 rooms with 2 formats: One room where only male customers could see female customers and one room where only female customers could see male customers. However, because the restaurant's area is not large enough, they only made one type of room that only male customers can see.

Regarding the reason for using one-way mirrors, according to the cafe owner, if transparent glass or open space is used, introverts may be shy and do not dare to talk. So using a one-way mirror will help the male guest feel less shy when chatting and even if the female refuses, she won't feel embarrassed.
