We have worked with the authorities and provided full documents proving the origin, as well as the fact that this batch of new drugs has been put into the processing process according to regulations," the representative shared.

Notably, among the pharmaceutical products discovered at the scene, there were many blister packs of pharmaceutical products labeled Cetecocenzitax 25mg that were still intact, unused, with an expiration date of August 2026. The packaging clearly stated the ingredient as Cinnarizin 25mg, a pharmaceutical product commonly used to treat mental disorders, dizziness, and motion sickness.

This is the type of new medicine that the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) issued a document requesting a recall on September 6, 2024. According to the document, the Cetecocenzitax (Cinnarizin 25mg) tablet product of Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3 does not meet quality standards, specifically, it does not meet the requirements for properties and quantity. The Ministry of Health requires the company to coordinate with distributors to notify all wholesalers and retailers of the recall and recall the entire batch of this substandard new medicine.
