On the afternoon of June 9, Mr. LQN, the person who accused CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company of mixing in and selling diseased pork, said that the same morning, the police of Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces had worked with him.
"At the meeting, I saw that the police officers were very neat, serious, and listened to my opinions. I was very satisfied with their working attitude," Mr. N. shared.
According to Mr. N., the police officer asked him about the content and images he posted on social media. Mr. N. said that the content and images were all true. If they were wrong, he would be responsible before the law.
"I also presented to the police officers the incident I reported as in the petition, starting from 2022 when I was still working at Fresh Shop My Xuyen," Mr. N. informed and said that he had followed up and reported to the company many times but it was not resolved.
According to Mr. N., the images and content he reported were from 2022-2023. The inspection results in June 2025 have nothing to do with the incident he reported earlier.
According to this person, he shared 7 photos on his personal page, but many people only focused on 2 photos of pieces of pig at the slaughterhouse, while the other 5 photos were of rotten meat products brought to shops in Hau Giang and Soc Trang to sell to customers.
According to Mr. N.'s complaint, Vietnam Joint Stock Company often brought sick pigs and chickens, even those with a foul smell and flies, into Fresh Shop and then forced employees to sell them to the Soc Trang market.
On the part of Vietnam Joint Stock Company, the company initially denied using sick pigs in the slaughterhouse but later admitted that there were sick pigs, but the sick pigs were cooked to feed fish and not put on the market. The case is currently being verified and clarified by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with relevant units.
Faced with the "matrix" of information related to CP pork, one of the "familiar" food suppliers to consumers, many people expressed skepticism and pointed out a series of contradictory issues in the case.
Reader Tam Minh raised a series of questions: "It is said that the inspection process was strict from the beginning, so why are pigs with obvious problems still sent to the slaughterhouse, shaved, and divided in half? Why are sick pigs still stamped, who stamped them and for what purpose? Not to mention that the company previously said that the information Mr. N. posted was slanderous and unverified, so why is it now admitted to be true?"
Sharing the same skepticism, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai wrote: "The basic evidence is clear, the lack of output control is real, so the employees made the accusation, otherwise normally no one would be foolish enough to slander without such evidence. Public health is an extremely important issue, requiring the police to verify it."
"Image data shows that sick pigs are cleaned of hair and stamped with quarantine procedures. So is the product really destroyed? There is a clear process for handling sick animals, so is the explanation from the business convincing or not? Is there something ambiguous or lacking in transparency?
Regarding the fish feeding, I don't understand which farm would dare to feed its fish with sick pigs, not to mention the risk of infecting the fish and polluting the water source. The more we dig deeper, the more we see that there is a basis for this. Therefore, for the sake of public health, the Ministry of Public Security can initiate a case for investigation," reader QV continued.
Sharing the same opinion, reader Tuan wrote: "Feeding sick pigs to fish is no different than carrying the disease from one place to another, and does it destroy the pathogens? There are two issues that we hope the authorities will clarify. First, when slaughtering and destroying pigs, there are medical staff, so are there working records and certificates for these activities?
Second, why stamp sick livestock? I see that facilities stamp livestock and poultry to prove that the products meet the standards for the market, while here, even though sick livestock are detected, they still slaughter and stamp. What is the purpose?
C.P Pork Department: Real sick pig images, Soc Trang announces test results Hoàng Phúc20:32:12 02/06/2025On June 2, the authorities of Hau Giang province inspected 2 cattle slaughterhouses D.N. (Phung Hiep district) and N.D. (Chau Thanh A district). These are 2 slaughterhouses for C.P. Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company.
