The defendants in the case have posted information in cyberspace of personal secrets, family secrets and private life against 10 people including: Mr. Vo Nguyen Hoai Linh (artist Hoai Linh), Ms. Nguyen Thi My Oanh (singer Vy Oanh), Ms. Dang Thi Han Ni (journalist, lawyer), Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Tien (singer Thuy Tien) and her husband Mr. Le Cong Vinh, Mr. Huynh Minh Hung (singer Dam Vinh Hung), Ms. Đinh Thi Lan, Ms. Le Thi Rich, and Ms. Truong Viet Ha.

At the appeal hearing, Hang affirmed that she had gone through her family and lawyer to fulfill her court fees and civil liability obligations after the first instance verdict.

The reduction of this sentence depends on Ms. Hang's performance and execution. Therefore, if Ms. Hang serves her sentence well, she can have her sentence reduced and not have to serve all of her sentence.
