On November 13, a woman left her house to go into the forest in Mang But commune to pick leaves and did not return. After 5 days of searching, the working group found this woman lost in a forest in Dak Ha district, Kon Tum province.

According to sources from Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, on the afternoon of November 17, the People's Committee of Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province praised the working group for successfully rescuing Ms. Y Kinh (45 years old, Dak Y Pai village, Mang But commune). , Kon Plong district) got lost in the forest.

Before that, on the morning of November 13, Ms. Y Kinh left her house and went into the forest in Mang But commune to pick leaves from the orchid plant and did not return. Seeing this, his family and people in the village searched but could not find him.

After two days of searching in the areas where Ms. Y Kinh often went to pick vegetables, but still could not find her, Ms. Kinh's relatives decided to report it to the Mang But Commune Police.

After receiving the information, Kon Plong District People's Committee sent a force of about 20 people including district and commune police and military to coordinate in finding the victim's whereabouts.

By noon on November 17, the working group was able to find Ms. Y Kinh when she was lost in a forest in Dak Ha district, Kon Tum province.

After being encouraged by members of the search working group, Ms. Y Kinh said she went to pick wild vegetables but got lost. Without a phone connection, she tried to find the exit but still couldn't find it. The more she walked, the more disoriented she became, so Ms. Kinh was very scared. To survive, Ms. Y Kinh had to eat wild vegetables and drink stream water. At night, in case there were wild animals, she climbed a tree to sleep.

A similar case of a woman missing in a mountainous area, according to sources from Tuoi Tre newspaper, in May 2022, the story of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lien, 59 years old, residing in the My Urban Area Dinh, Nam Tu Liem district (Hanoi) is alive and well after 7 days and 6 nights of falling into the abyss of Yen Tu mountain, attracting the attention of many people.

Ms. Lien said that on April 27, 2022, she took a bus from Hanoi to Ha Long City (Quang Ninh) to get medicine to treat joint pain. However, when arriving at the Doc Do intersection (National Highway 18), this 59-year-old woman came up with the idea of going to Yen Tu mountain to pray for peace. At noon of the same day, after buying cable car tickets and scenic spots, Ms. Lien started her journey to Yen Tu mountain. After worshiping Buddha at Dong Pagoda, she went down the mountain a few dozen meters and felt tired so she leaned on the railing next to the cliff to rest.

Having a history of vestibular disorders, when she stood up to continue going down the mountain, Ms. Lien was dizzy, staggered and fell down the cliff. When I woke up, I found myself lying in a crevice, my head resting on a tree root, my body lying underneath. When she heard someone's voice, she was about to stand up and call for help when she stepped on a garbage bag and fell further down.

Ms. Lien said at that time she thought that the more she tried to climb up, the more dangerous it would be, so she tried not to let herself fall further down the cliff. However, due to her body's weight, she continued to fall deeper.

After the third fall, Ms. Lien saw a large stone slab that she could lie on and immediately clung to a bamboo tree and climbed over to observe and call for help.

This woman said that the time it fell was foggy, visibility was very short, only 1-2 m and it was raining so no one discovered it. When it fell, due to heavy rain, his clothes and shoes were soaked and his whole body was cold. Fortunately, there was a bamboo bush next to the stone, so she found a rope to pull the canopy down in front of her, creating an umbrella above.

Then she found a plastic bag to cover the front so that the wind and rain wouldn't blow in. She used a plastic bag to cover her head, wrapped her body, hands and feet to use body heat to warm herself, avoiding pneumonia and stomach pain. ,...

To maintain life, Ms. Lien said she had to divide the burnt rice package into small pieces in the bag she carried to eat gradually, and drink water from bottles that were thrown away earlier.

"In addition to digging through trash, I picked leaves and fern tubers to eat. By May 3, the rice was burned and there was only a little water left and I was about to continue digging through trash when luckily someone heard me calling for help" - Mrs. Lien recalls.
