In a livestream, singer and businessman Doan Di Bang once introduced Hanayuki Shampoo as a purely natural product, containing ingredients such as bodhisattva, ha thu o, grapefruit essential oil, incense... with a thin, low-foaming texture and "no need for conditioner". She promotes products with benefits such as: deodorizing the scalp, stimulating hair growth, restoring damaged hair, treating dandruff and reducing scalp fungus.
Currently, Hanayuki shampoo is still widely sold on e-commerce platforms and social networks, the price ranges from 220,000 to 230,000 VND/bottle, usually sold with Hanayuki conditioner in a combo from 420,000 to 475,000 VND.
According to information from the Industry and Trade Newspaper, not only shampoo, many other products under the Hanayuki brand are also controversial because the advertising exceeds the use of cosmetics. In particular, Hanayuki Soft & Silk feminine hygiene solution was reflected as being mispromoted by Doan Di Bang. In many videos, she claims that the product has the ability to treat acne, treat dandruff, armpit odor, menstrual pai.n, stimulate physiology and heal perineal incisions, although these uses lack scientific basis, and are even recommended for use in infants, causing serious safety concerns.
Although she admitted that she was a producer, Ms. Doan Di Bang admitted that she did not know the ingredients of the product and said that some substances were "secretly" added before being licensed by the Ministry of Health.
Hanayuki solution currently has three product lines, priced from 120,000 to 160,000 VND/bottle, introduced extracts from natural ingredients such as aloe vera, betel nut, saffron, etc. However, on websites such as hanayuki.asia, hanayuki.net.vn and many social networking platforms, Hanayuki products are constantly advertised with phrases such as "acne treatment", "melasma treatment", "treatment support", which easily misleads consumers as drug.s, violating cosmetic advertising regulations.
Some typical products such as Hanayuki acne cream (570,000 VND), mini serum (240,000 VND), full serum (670,000 VND) and acne combo (1,860,000 VND) are sold with a commitment to quick effectiveness, after just a few weeks. In addition to the official website, Hanayuki is also heavily promoted on Facebook and TikTok with exaggerated words like a "miracle drug", making consumers easily deceived and at risk when using.
