Tinh That Bong Lai case: Police hunt for 5 characters, who are identified?

In order to serve the investigation of the Tinh That Bong Lai case, the police recently ordered the search for many related figures, the identities of 5 characters have been revealed, including Mr. Le Tung Van's daughter and 3 lawyers. Besides, there is Vo Thi Diem My, a girl missing for 4 years.

Regarding the self-proclaimed place of Tinh That Bong Lai, on May 6, a report from the Department of Internal Affairs - Police of Long An province said that the unit has made a decision and is in the process of searching for 5 related people to serve the investigation. In particular, the latest person to be traced by the Department of Internal Affairs - Police of Long An province is Le Thanh Ky Duyen (female, 31 years old). Le Thanh Ky Duyen was traced on suspicion of committing an offense in a blood relation case in which on April 19 the agency prosecuted the accused, forbidding him from leaving his residence for Mr. Le Tung Van (92 years old, living in the self-proclaimed Tinh That Bong Lai).

Although in her criminal record, Le Thanh Ky Duyen registered herself with the authorities of Long An province and could not identify the father, but based on the scientific evidence of genetics at the DNA test results for Ky Duyen and 26 other people in the Bong Lai Tinh House, Ky Duyen is the biological daughter of Mr. Le Tung Van and Ms. Le Thu Van. Le Thanh Ky Duyen has 2 sons and the father's birth certificate is not identified on the birth certificate.

During the investigation of the case, on April 24, the Public Security Agency of Long An province came to work with Le Thanh Ky Duyen at the self-proclaimed place of Tinh That Bong Lai. However, Le Thanh Ky Duyen had left Bong Lai Tinh House before and no one knew where this person had gone, so the police of Long An province decided to search for him to serve the investigation.

Earlier, on the evening of April 19, the PLHCMC newspaper quoted information from the Public Security Department of Long An province confirming that it was still searching for 3 lawyers Nguyen Van Mat (57 years old, living in Truong Tho ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City). The police of Long An province said that the Investigating Police Department checked and verified the report and sent summons many times, but these 3 lawyers did not come to work and there was no reason for absence.

Regarding the case of "Tinh That Bong Lai", the Security Investigation Department of Long An province has also issued a decision to search for Vo Thi Diem My (25 years old; living in Quarter 1, Binh Hung Hoa A Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) to serve the investigation of the case of Abusing democratic freedoms, infringe upon the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals.

Earlier, in a 2022 trial, Ms. Doan Thi Tuyet Mai (Diem My's mother) in court said that before being lured into the "Bong Lai pure house", Diem My was a 3rd year university student. Her family has also prepared paperwork for her to study abroad.

According to Ms. Mai, in 2019, her family visited the pagoda scene in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
