Regarding the above incident, on March 7, lawyer Phan Trung Hoai (Vice President of the Vietnam Bar Federation) sent an official dispatch to the director of the Long An Provincial Public Security Department regarding the consideration of handling measures related to the case. practice and behavior of some lawyers in the case occurred at Tinh That Bong Lai.

Previously, on February 28, lawyer Dao Kim Lan submitted an application to the Vietnam Bar Federation for support related to the practice process in the case of Tinh That Bong Lai. In the application, Mr. Lan admitted that he and a number of other lawyers used the media channel "Lawyer Diary" on the YouTube social networking platform to record or live stream activities, itineraries, opinions, relevant documents in a number of cases in which the lawyers participated, including the Tinh That Bong Lai case.

The representative of the Bar Federation worked with Mr. Lan and a number of lawyers participating in the defense in the Tinh That Bong Lai case and asked this group of lawyers to immediately remove the videos on the aforementioned YouTube channel. These videos have been removed by Mr. Lan.

The Bar Federation said it is ready to coordinate and send representatives to work with the proceedings-conducting agencies of Long An province in case of necessity (or upon request) to verify and clarify the above case. At the same time, the Bar Federation suggested that the authorities of Long An province have a way to handle the case in a cautious and objective manner according to their competence and in accordance with the provisions of law.

As for the group of people in Tinh That Bong Lai, after the trial, the People's Court of Long An province rejected the appeal and sentenced Mr. Le Tung Van, 90 years old, to 5 years in prison. The remaining defendants were also sentenced to 3-4 years on the same charges.

Previously, the Long An provincial procedural agency prosecuted the case to investigate three crimes of "blood disorder", "fraud to appropriate property" and "abusing democratic freedoms" at this facility. . At that time, Long An Provincial Police said that Mr. Le Tung Van had signs of committing all three of these crimes. However, up to this point, the accused was brought to trial and received a verdict on the crime of "abusing democratic freedoms".

Commenting on the incident, lawyer Dang Van Cuong - Chinh Phap Law Office, Hanoi Bar Association said that if the DNA examination results show that the people living in Tinh That Bong Lai have a blood relationship. However, the investigating agency has not yet announced the specific results of DNA examination for each person to protect the privacy of citizens' private lives, especially children living in Tinh That Bong Lai.

"If the disclosure is too detailed, it may reveal information about the child's identity, potentially affecting their future and life. The lawyer emphasized that the children involved in this case, regardless of the results of the DNA test, are completely innocent. Children should be treated equally, avoiding discrimination.
