She shared that this was false information, and confirmed that the singer in the video clips was imitating her voice and timbre.

This meeting was moderated by Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh - deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center.

The videos were spread, causing Le Thuy's life to be affected because some people believed that she was related to the Bong Lai Pure House. After a few acquaintances inquired, she understood the matter. She is not familiar with technology and social networks, so she asked her son - singer Duong Dinh Tri to check. After that, through the fanpage, People's Artist Le Thuy corrected and said that it was thanks to the law to intervene.

She said: "In the past, there were many channels that put information and pictures on saying that I was dead, and my friends went to visit me a lot. But they faked my name like that, so there were a lot of people commenting below, all directions, affecting my reputation. This whole week I am really tired, because every day there are too many phone calls to inquire, or blame, all sorts of things... I hope the departments will clarify to avoid future complications, such as: When it comes to money, the more dangerous it is."

Singer Duong Dinh Tri shared: "Even though those channels have corrected the title, the hundreds of comments below can't be corrected in time, it's still People's Artist Le Thuy, and the channel owner still replies to those comments. like Le Thuy themselves, making people understand that this is my mother's channel In fact, my mother does not know about technology applications such as Facebook, Zalo, TikTok.

Because a lot of viewers often call, text and ask, I just created a Fanpage for easy communication. I have reflected on this case on Fanpage, and asked the authorities and the press to intervene. If not handled, I am afraid that in the future, they will set a precedent, they will continue to fake many other artists and cause social disorder.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh informed that in the past week, the Department of Information and Communications received information about artist Le Thuy who was impersonated on YouTube, affecting her personal reputation. Artist Le Thuy shared that she discovered that a YouTube channel posted a clip of a song with fake voice and impersonation with the title mentioning her name singing praises to Thien am on the edge of the universe from acquaintances and information fans.

The female artist was surprised by this information and then continuously received calls and messages from acquaintances asking about the incident, making her sad, thinking a lot and wanting to get sick. Meanwhile, artist Le Thuy does not use social networks. She said in the past, many people set up fanpages with her name and avatar to reach fans.

"They create their own fanpage, answer the audience themselves, I am worried if they have malicious intentions that affect the honor and reputation of their mother. So earlier this year I set up an official fanpage to keep in touch. communicate with the audience and prevent bad intentions" - singer Duong Dinh Tri shared.

"The owners of these channels are intentionally asking for views and likes, not by accident. Because when I found out, they not only removed the clip but also made many other channels" - Le Thuy commented.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Cang - inspector of the Department of Information and Communications - said that after receiving information from artist Le Thuy, the director of the Department of Information and Communications directed to review the links to post clips impersonating the artist. Doctor Le Thuy, 2 out of 5 links have removed the clip. The department inspector is continuing to review and verify the owner of the YouTube channel for the next course of action.

"Through the verification process, if we identify the channel owner impersonating the channel, we will invite him to work and handle it. If the channel owner cannot be identified, the department will make a list and send it to the Ministry of Information and Communications for handling. according to authority," added Mr. Le Cao Si, an expert in the electronic information department of the Department of Information and Communications.

Singer Duong Dinh Tri told Tuoi Tre Online that the purpose of this meeting was to let the audience and fans know that the singer singing in the clip is not artist Le Thuy. He also thinks that these YouTube channels do not simply make clips to fake his mother's voice, but can take advantage of public information about a sensitive issue to affect the reputation of Le Thuy's mother.
