The case of a joint stock company being accused by former employees of selling "dirty" meat: nothing left to lose, being asked a trap?

Mr. LQN confirmed that he used to work at CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (CP Company). However, when he discovered the company's behavior, he reported it to the management for handling but was ignored and transferred to another job position.

Notably, after the above information spread on social networks, causing public confusion, this former employee continued to post a clip sharing the surprising developments behind it. He said that there were a few people who suspected that the Joint Stock Company had proactively contacted him, claiming to be reporters to exploit the remaining information that this person held, or to make a 'secret agreement' to settle things. However, Mr. LQN said that he was undergoing dialysis, and had no intention of 'blackmailing' the company he was 'exposing'.

Previously, the post by account owner Jonny Lieu (with 29,000 followers) with content denouncing a number of serious violations by the leaders of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, occurred at CP Freshop My Xuyen store (Soc Trang province).

This person said that while working at CP Fresh Shop My Xuyen (Soc Trang), he and a number of employees and local people discovered many signs of serious violations related to meat trading activities here. Jonny Lieu's account accused CP of regularly mixing in diseased pork and chicken, even pieces of meat that smelled bad, showed signs such as pimples, abscesses, pus or had been processed... but still brought them to Fresh Shop for consumption.

This person also said that the company's leaders directed the "blending" (dividing into small pieces) to sell at cheap prices to people to make sausages and hot dogs. In addition, Jonny Lieu's account also said that expired sausages were required to have their labels removed and continue to be processed into fried sausages.

Regarding the above incident, speaking to the press, Mr. LQN (born in 1985), the person who posted the above article, said that he had sent a document with the content of the post to the police and was preparing to send it to relevant agencies of Soc Trang province and the Government Office.

According to Mr. N, the above incident happened in 2022, when he was an employee at CP Freshop My Xuyen store and saw it directly.

Specifically, Mr. N said that he started working (on probation) at the Company in 2021 and was officially hired in 2022. Initially, Mr. N was assigned to work at the Company's Freshop store on Le Hong Phong Street, Ward 3, Soc Trang City. About 3 months later, the unit transferred him to the Freshop My Xuyen store, Trieu Nuong Street, My Xuyen Town, My Xuyen District.

"At the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, I and some people discovered that the company mixed sick pigs and sick chickens into the store for employees to sell, so I reported it to Mr. BXP, Director of Hau Giang branch, but he did not handle it. On the contrary, he also directed his employees to cut the meat and sell it cheaply to sausage makers. With expired sausages, Mr. CTP, Deputy Sales Director of Hau Giang branch, told his employees to remove the labels and sell fried sausages and fried sausages to street vendors..." , Mr. N recounted.

According to Mr. LQN, when he reported to the Director of Hau Giang branch but was not handled, Mr. N reported to Mr. LVBT (Regional Director) but was also not handled. After those reflections, one evening, Mr. N was attacked by 2 masked men on a motorbike with knives right in front of the Freshop My Xuyen store. Fortunately, Mr. N escaped. After that, the company's senior leaders came down to meet Mr. N and said that they would handle the matter internally.

When we asked why the incident was discovered in 2022 but not reported to the authorities until the end of May 2025, Mr. N said: "When I discovered the incident, I reported it to senior leaders and the leaders came to my house to tell me to handle it internally. I thought that if the leaders said so, it would definitely be handled, but after a period of monitoring, I saw that the leaders did not organize an investigation or handle the violations, nor did they organize verification, nor did they contact me about handling the violations...".

Regarding the above incident, on the afternoon of May 30, Soc Trang province established an interdisciplinary inspection team including the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Market Management force, and the Police to inspect the food business establishment as reported on social networks.

On the same afternoon, CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) also spoke up about this matter.

Accordingly, the company affirmed that the information posted on social networks is fabricated and untrue with the purpose of defaming and causing damage to the company.
