The management board of the Dien Quan pancake chain said that the unit has decided to permanently suspend the operation of Thai Binh facility, for failing to comply with the chain's rules and food hygiene and safety requirements.
On May 9, Ms. Pham Thi My Hanh, Director General of Thai Binh Province's Food Safety and Hygiene Department, said that she had received information about pate being brought up to diners at the Dien Quan pancake establishment in Thai Binh branch and was sending officials to investigate, Specific verification before processing is available.
Earlier, a video appeared on social media showing at least 3 pans of food with pate at one point still wiggling and terrified diners leaving, refusing to eat despite the staff offering to change new items.
Immediately after this incident, the bread and pan system of Dien Quan Pole issued a notice about the suspension of operation for the Dien Quan Pole establishment in Thai Binh branch until clarifying the cause of the failure to ensure food hygiene and safety, affecting the interests of customers.
According to the announcement, the representative of Dien Quan Pole apologized to the guests of the Dien Quan Pole establishment in Thai Binh branch for the bad experience when eating at this establishment.
The Dien Quan bread chain affirmed that there were instructions and requirements on ensuring food hygiene and safety, as well as the quality and quantity of food/beverages, but Thai Binh establishment did not comply with the rules and requirements, leading to serious consequences, affecting guests.

The owner also explained the reason for the incident because of the lack of proper management. The pate used is molded pate, after f.inishing, it will be frozen immediately until used to be processed.
This person confirmed that the pate of the shop was imported from the General Brand System of Electric Poles, which was created according to the inspection process.
Along with that, the chain's management board also made a decision to permanently suspend the operation of Quan Thai Binh Power Pole facility for not complying with the chain's rules and food hygiene and safety requirements. At the same time, employees have not been closely managed in the process of preserving raw materials, causing serious consequences.
According to the management board of Dien Quan pan bread chain, Thai Binh base pate is imported from the total pan bread system, produced according to strict processes and inspections; is a type of molded that is frozen, only when used will it be taken from the freezer to cut and fry. However, the preservation process at Thai Binh facility has not met regulations, so it causes the pate to be damaged.
The unit acknowledged that this error was not only due to the fault of the facility, but also the fault of the system when it did not closely and regularly monitor the facilities in the province.
"We have notified all facilities in the system, requested a review of cleaning and personnel management, and sent supervisors to inspect all facilities in the system again to ensure that similar incidents do not happen again." The management board of the bread pan chain information.
Earlier, on social media, a video of diners coming to enjoy pan bread at Bread Pan Pole Quan Thai Binh campus saw beef worms moving in a piece of pate.
As soon as this is detected, diners immediately notify the staff. Although the staff offered to change the pan to a new one, the group refused to continue eating and left.
