In recent years, human trafficking rings through high-paying light-duty companies have become increasingly complex and sophisticated. Those involved in these rings often live under pressure, even being forced to participate in illegal activities.
According to many sources from the authorities, the subjects in human trafficking rings often use sophisticated tricks to lure their prey. One of the common tricks is to make attractive invitations for easy jobs, high salaries, with working conditions at companies that appear to be legitimate.
In particular, in advertisements on social networks, these companies often introduce extremely attractive salaries, which can be up to tens of millions of VND per month, and jobs that do not require experience or high skills.
In fact, these companies are just a cover, behind which are human trafficking organizations. The victims, mainly people in difficult circumstances, unemployed or looking for opportunities to change their lives, did not suspect and readily accepted the invitation, thereby falling into the trap. These people, after accepting the job, will be taken far away, to unclear locations, even other countries such as Cambodia, Laos, to begin a life of detention and forced labor.
One typical case is the story of Nguyen Van T., a native of Dak Lak. After a long time of searching for a job, he was offered an attractive job at a game company in Tay Ninh, with a promised salary of more than 20 million VND per month. However, when he arrived at the company, he was unexpectedly taken to a company in Cambodia, where he faced days of living in fear and hardship.
Similarly, many people involved in this network in provinces such as Tuyen Quang were also taken to neighboring countries and brainwashed, forced to work in fake companies, and forced to participate in illegal jobs such as online mone.y fraud. They had to live under constant pressure and intimidation, unable to escape because they were imprisoned both physically and mentally.
These human trafficking rings operate not only in remote areas but also in large cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, where many workers are looking for work. These subjects are very skillful in creating cover, by building legal companies or recruitment offices.
In the past, human trafficking rings often took victims to China, but now they have shifted to other countries such as Laos, Cambodia, and Southeast Asian countries. This is to avoid detection by authorities and make it difficult to track down criminals.
The Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security said that in 2024, it discovered and prosecuted 88 cases related to human trafficking, of which nearly two-thirds of the cases were related to human trafficking rings abroad.
Human trafficking under the guise of "easy work, high salary" companies is not only a personal or family problem but also a general danger to society. Authorities advise people to be extremely vigilant when accessing recruitment information online. Do not believe in invitations for easy work, high salary without clear origin. People need to carefully check information about the recruiting company and organization and always find reliable sources to avoid falling into traps.
In addition, families should also educate their children to be aware of the danger signs, and never participate in unclear jobs, especially when there is no detailed information about the company or job. In particular, people should contact the authorities when they discover suspicious cases related to human trafficking.
