In a similar case, on July 9, the Criminal Police Department, Vinh Long Provincial Police, in collaboration with the Criminal Police Team, the Police of Long Ho District and the Police of Phuoc Hau Commune, caught a group of gamblers in the act. in the form of fighting cocks for money.

Accordingly, at about 13 o'clock on the same day, receiving information from people, the police force checked the vacant land in Phuoc Nguon A hamlet, Phuoc Hau commune, Long Ho district, and discovered that many subjects had gathered. Fighting cocks loses money, so arrests should be made.

When the police raided the scene, the subjects fled in many directions, then 13 related subjects were chased and arrested by police forces.

Exhibits temporarily seized at the scene included 01 chicken, many pairs of iron spurs, 11 mobile phones, the amount of money on the subjects was 47,200,000 VND. Through work, the subjects all admitted to participating in gambling in the form of cockfighting with money.

It is known that the above gambling place is often attended by gamblers from many places inside and outside the province, causing local insecurity and order. Currently, Long Ho district police are continuing to work with the subjects to handle according to regulations.

Continuing on the afternoon of July 14, Vinh Long Provincial Police said that the group of gamblers had been moved to the local police headquarters for further clarification.
