Ho Chi Minh City Police warned, do not abet livestreams to insul.t others

The Ho Chi Minh City Police suggest that people do not participate in supporting or commenting on livestreams with negative content or insulting the honor and dignity of others.

On the afternoon of November 7, at a press conference on the socio-economic situation organized by the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, Colonel Nguyen Thang Long, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ho Chi Minh City Police emphasized the risks of participating in livestream sessions with the above content.

Colonel Thang Long affirmed that in Vietnam, all citizens must comply with the law, including activities in cyberspace. The Party and the State respect, protect, guarantee and promote the right to freedom of expression of citizens, which is one of the basic human rights and this right is within the framework of the law.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Police, livestream sessions of the above nature can create conditions for bad actors to commit acts of violating the law such as: staging, distorting the truth, spreading false news, misleading with vulgar language, content, distorting, insulting honor, etc human dignity, infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations.

To ensure the safety and health of the online environment, Colonel Long called on people to raise their sense of responsibility when using social networks, complying with Decision No. 874/QD-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications issued on June 17, 2021 on the Code of Conduct on social networks.

Accordingly, citizens and organizations must comply with regulations on proper behavior, respect the right to freedom of expression within the framework of the law, avoid making statements and comments that violate the reputation and interests of others.

Colonel Long also advised people not to participate in supporting or commenting on livestreams with negative content. Instead, he suggested that the community should condemn violations and proactively report to the authorities when detecting signs of violating the law online.

It can be said that the phrase "livestream" in the past time has been quite sensitive. Besides negative thoughts, it is also considered an inevitable trend. If used correctly, it helps to bring many benefits.

To meet the current demand for livestream sales, more and more livestream classes have been born.

Answering students, lecturer Duong Hung said that there are techniques for the livestream to go smoothly. "We say what customers need to hear and then come to good words. We describe the product, have commitments for customers to trust," he said. The livestreamer also does many things such as calling on viewers to press the like button and release hearts, for example: "You release me 3 hearts each, I will offer this product 30% discount. I count from 10 to 1."

According to Mr. Hung, the curriculum will introduce technical elements, livestream scenarios, instructions on types of equipment, how to edit videos, etc. "Students study in six sessions, adding time to practice ten sessions smoothly. We have been teaching online sales classes for many years," he shared.

There are many forms of livestream training such as face-to-face learning, online or through courses according to ready-to-sell packages online. Trang Khokhoa... introducing the course "TikTok shop and livestream" three online sessions, if registering as a member, you will be given five sessions under 100,000 VND such as "Thousand orders in hand", "Sales for beginners". At skill academies and online sales training institutions, direct courses range from 3 million to more than 10 million VND depending on the content and duration.

The market also has a form of 1-1 livestream training with one student per class. Opening classes for more than half a year now, Ms. Hien Nguyen (living in Tan Binh district) said that she usually collects tuition fees according to the needs of students, if people in difficult circumstances want to study to make a living, the cost is cheap. "I mainly teach people I know or are introduced to through my relationships," she said.

According to her, there are currently many sales livestream trainers, with school styles, spontaneous styles, and all kinds of exciting levels. She shared: "This is a subject that meets the needs of many people who want to have their own business, own themselves, and find ways to develop sales on platforms. In particular, livestreams on TikTok attract many participants in sales."
