On January 17, 2025, the online community was stirred up by a clip recording a scene of a man wearing a GrabBike shirt and helmet standing close to the traffic light control post at the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap - Do Xuan Hop, Phuoc Long A ward, Thu Duc city. In the clip, this person opened the control cabinet and put his hand inside to impact the control panel, while thousands of vehicles were traveling through the area. After performing the action, this person also raised his hand to signal another person standing on the other side of the street.

After investigation, the authorities identified the man in the clip as Mr. NVT (50 years old, living in Thu Duc City), a GrabBike driver. Mr. T. was summoned to the police station to work and give a statement.
