Tension erupts at hospital, heartbreaking consequences cause one person to die!

On the afternoon of May 23, a representative of Da Nang City Police said that the Criminal Police Department is conducting an investigation related to a serious incident that occurred at the Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital.

The person directly involved was identified as Nguyen Van Cong (21 years old, residing in Quang Nam province).

Nguyen Van Cong, after the incident, came to the police station to present himself and cooperate with the authorities. The Criminal Police Department is currently focusing on clarifying the case to handle it according to the law. Professional steps such as examining the scene and extracting security cameras at the hospital are being urgently carried out.

According to initial information, at around 2:30 p.m. on May 22, Mr. D.VP (31 years old) and his brother Mr. D.N.D.N. (36 years old), both residing in Quang Nam province, went to the Da Nang Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital to visit his sister, Ms. D.TNQ (25 years old), who had just given birth. There, the two brothers met Nguyen Van Cong and Cong's brother, Mr. NTTr. (33 years old), Ms. Q's husband.

Previously, there had been a long-standing and unresolved conflict between the two families. This tension led to a fight between the two parties right on the hospital grounds, a place that was considered a safe and peaceful place for patients and their relatives. During the argument and fight, Nguyen Van Cong used a sharp object and caused serious injuries to Mr. D.VP, specifically a wound in the abdomen.

Although medical staff at the hospital tried to give emergency aid to Mr. D.VP, due to the severity of his injuries, Mr. D.VP did not survive. The incident was quickly reported to the local police. Da Nang City Police arrived at the scene, quickly organized an examination, collected evidence, investigated relevant people and arrested suspect Nguyen Van Cong to assist in the investigation.

A police representative said the incident was a regrettable example of the consequences of unresolved family conflicts. Instead of seeking to negotiate and reconcile, the parties let the tension escalate, leading to tragic consequences.
