Taxi overturned at Da Lat tourist area: Father feels sorry for his daughter as he bids farewell and receives support

On November 28, Da Lat City Police (Lam Dong) are investigating the cause of a collision at the Wilder Nest tourist site that left one person dead and three injured.

Regarding the health of the victims, currently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh (21 years old, living in Hanoi) is in critical condition. Her husband, Mr. Nguyen Van Son (26 years old), and the driver, Ho Xuan Long (44 years old, living in Da Lat City) are in stable health.

According to information from Lam Dong General Hospital, Ms. Van Anh was diagnosed with brain injury, cervical spinal cord injury, lung injury and abdominal effusion. This morning, she was conscious but had symptoms of paralysis in her limbs. Currently, the hospital and her family are completing procedures to transfer Ms. Van Anh to Ho Chi Minh City for further treatment.

After the acciden.t, Mr. Nguyen Van Son (26 years old, Hanoi) was still in shock when he woke up at the hospital and received the news that his daughter was gone and his wife was in critical condition. Mr. Son shared with the Law and Life Newspaper: "I don't know what happened after that. When I woke up, my daughter was gone, my wife was seriously injured and in a coma. I didn't expect that the trip would bring such great pain to my family."

After the heartbreaking incident, Mr. Son shared a deep emotional message to say goodbye to his little daughter, making many people feel sorry. "Goodbye, my chil.d. I'm sorry for not raising you properly. You're a good gir.l, remember to be our daughter in the next life. When you leave, remember to bless your mother to survive this disaster."

Under the post, many relatives and friends left words of encouragement and comfort for Mr. Son after the tragic collision. At the same time, many people also sent their regards to the young mother’s health, hoping that she would be strong and recover soon.

Previously, at around 10:50 a.m. on November 28, taxi with license plate 50H-532.87, driven by driver Ho Xuan Long, carried 3 tourists from Hanoi: Mr. Nguyen Van Son (26 years old), Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh (21 years old, Mr. Son's wife) and Nguyen Linh D (1 year old, Mr. Son's daughter) to visit Ta Nung commune, Da Lat city, Lam Dong province.

When the car reached the bend in front of the Wilder Nest tourist attraction, the driver accelerated and crashed into the curb, rolling several times. The collision killed D, while Mr. Son and his wife and driver Long had to be hospitalized.

According to Giao Thong newspaper, Mr. Vo Ngoc Trinh (Vice Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee, Lam Dong province) visited and encouraged the family at Lam Dong General Hospital.

Lado Taxi Company has sent staff to the hospital to take care of the victi.m and provided 100 million VND in support to the family. At the same time, the company is coordinating with the authorities to clarify the cause of the collision and committed to taking responsibility for remedying the consequences.

After the collision, authorities conducted a quick test on driver Ho Xuan Long and found no illegal substances or bloo.d alcohol levels. Driver Long had only been driving the vehicle with license plate 50H-532.78 for 2 days.

On the same afternoon, Mr. Vo Ngoc Trinh - Vice Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee visited the family of the tourist who had an acciden.t while sightseeing at the hospital. On behalf of Da Lat City People's Committee, Mr. Trinh expressed condolences for the loss of the tourist's family and provided 35 million VND in support.
