Thieu suffered a broken leg and soft tissue injuries to his head, clear signs of a terrifying night. "It was terrible. I was awake to check my phone, around 1:30 a.m. when suddenly I heard a loud noise and everything became chaotic. People were screaming for help, the car was shaking, things were flying everywhere. The front of the car was crumpled, the scene at that time was hard to describe," Thieu recounted, his eyes still unable to hide the trauma.

Another passenger, Doan Van Thang, who was also on the bus that crashed, said he only suffered mino.r injuries but was still in a state of shoc.k. He boarded the bus at 2:00 p.m. on June 18, but did not expect the acciden.t to occur at 1:30 a.m. the next morning.

"Everyone was screaming and panicking, trying to find a way to get out. I was sitting in the back row, so I was only able to get out of the car near the end. When I got off, my luggage was broken, many people were lying motionless, some were groaning. It was truly haunting to the core," Thang shared, his voice choked up.

According to initial information, the collision occurred at around 2:00 a.m. on June 19, on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway through Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province. At that time, the passenger bus with license plate 15H-098.25 (driver's identity not yet determined) was traveling from Da Nang city to Quang Ngai, carrying more than 10 passengers. When moving to the above location, the bus suddenly hit the back of the tractor trailer with license plate 294M 000/74 that was stopped in front.

The extremely strong collision completely deformed the front of the bus. Authorities quickly arrived at the scene to help take the injured to the emergency room, and conduct an investigation to clarify the cause of the incident.

According to confirmation from the authorities, this particularly serious acciden.t left two people lying on the spot and 16 others injured, many of whom were seriously injured and are being treated at medical facilities in Quang Nam province.

Even though they were rescued safely, the images of people lying motionless and the scene of devastated vehicles continue to haunt them every time they close their eyes.
