On April 7, the leader of the Quang Nam Provincial Police said that the Provincial Police Investigative Agency is still coordinating with functional branches to continue investigating and clarifying the case of To Thi Ty Na (SN 1981; t.ru in Quarter 8, Ha Lam town, Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province) who took his two sons to seek insurance profits.

Ms. Vo Thi Phuoc, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Ha Lam town (Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province), said that she herself did not expect such an incident to happen. Ms. Phuoc said that before being arrested, Ms. Ty Na was rarely in the locality, Ms. Na's 2 children lived with relatives on both sides of the country. Now, the father died while the mother was detained in such a situation, which will greatly affect the psychology of Ms. Na's 2 children.

According to local information, Ms. Na's eldest son is currently in grade 11 in Da Nang City, and her daughter is in grade 9 in the locality. Ms. Phuoc said that the locality will contact the family to find out more information to consider the direction of support for the 2 children to continue going to school.

"It is very pitiful for children to fall into such a situation. We will find out for the right direction of support. If there are uncles and aunts to nurture them, they have their own support policies, otherwise they will call on benefactors, study promotion associations or call for sponsorship to allow them to continue going to school, not to let them miss school," said Ms. Phuoc.

Previously, talking to us, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Tam - the biological aunt of the children said that the incident had greatly affected the psychology of the children, especially the children who were in grade 11 at the beginning of this year were old enough to understand everything. Since before the police announced the information that Ms. Ty Na had killed her biological child, she was very sad, just stayed in the room and closed the door, not wanting to contact anyone.

Ms. Tam said that her mother was less interested, so during the process of going to school, she had to work part-time to save money to spend and pay tuition fees.

Previously, on the evening of April 5, the Quang Nam Provincial Police Investigative Agency served decisions to prosecute the accused, arrest and detain Ms. Na for a period of 4 months to investigate the crime of intentionally killing people.

According to the Quang Nam Provincial Police, the murder case occurred in early 2023. Recently, implementing the direction of the leaders of the Police Department on improving the quality and efficiency of the management and settlement of suspended cases and cases, Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Director of the Quang Nam Provincial Police, has directed the Provincial Police Investigative Agency to inspect, review related cases.

From the inspection and review, the Investigative Agency has verified and resolved the case that occurred on January 2, 2023. The results of the investigation determined that at about 22:05 on January 2, 2023, at To Thi Ty Na's house, Nguyen Van Hoang (SN 2017) was Na's biological child who died in the toilet. Based on the documents and evidence collected, the Police have determined that the subject Na has acted against Hoang's nephew, the purpose of which is to profit from insurance.

The house where To Thi Ty Na (born 1981, Quarter 3, Ha Lam town, Thang Binh district) and her children live (now sold to others) is located in the alley of Nguyen Duy Hieu street, Ha Lam town. Mr. To Dinh T., a half-brother of To Thi Ty Na, stood in front of the house, his face was red. He said that last night when he heard that the police had prosecuted and detained his sister for taking advantage of insurance, he could not sleep. "I couldn't have imagined that he could kill his two children to have insurance money. Demons, not humans, are unimaginable! I hope the law will strictly rule for me to escape," Mr. Tung said.

He said that Ty Na is a half-brother, raised by his biological mother since he was 3 months old, loving like a child. However, Na has a stubborn temperament, playing and gambling, no one can advise her.

Na got married and gave birth to 4 children (3 boys, 1 girl). In 2019, Ty Na's husband died of a serious illness. In 2021, the youngest son (born in 2019 died), and in early 2023, the youngest son (born in 2017) also died. Both children were believed to have died after falling into a bucket of water. In the past, the husband was still alive practicing transportation, so the economy was quite good. When her husband died, Na also had no job, often away from home, neglecting her children.
