When the victim fell, the perpetrator continued to press on her and stab her repeatedly while the girl struggled. When T. was motionless, the woman pulled the victim close to the wheel of the truck, took the victim's property, then got in the car and ran away.

Regarding the above case, the police identified the suspect as Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung (39 years old, living in District 12). After 2 hours of committing the crime, the perpetrator was discovered and arrested by the police.

At the time of her arrest, Ms. Dung initially admitted that she had a money conflict with Ms. T so she murdered the victim.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of September 30, Ms. T. drove the motorbike and took Ms. Dung to the parking lot in the Thu Duc agricultural wholesale market to talk and then an argument broke out. After a while, Ms. T. was about to get on her motorbike to leave when Ms. Dung grabbed her and pulled her back, causing both of them to fall to the ground. Ms. Dung took the weapon and repeatedly attacked Ms. T., causing the victim to lie down on the spot.

It is known that at the police station, Ms. Dung was informed by the forensic agency that she had stabbed the victim more than 90 times.

At the police station, Dung declared that after committing the crime, she remained calm from the scene and returned to her residence in Hiep Binh Phuoc ward. Ms. Dung was still wearing a black outfit covered in blood and carrying evidence, a knife.

Ms. Dung's husband saw that she was still holding a sharp knife so he asked, "What kind of knife is so sharp? If you stab someone, you will surely die." Immediately after that, Dung replied, "I don't know how people die and live now."

According to Ms. Dung, at the time of the crime, Ms. Dung did not remember how many times she stabbed the victim and did not dare to look at the victim's image again. After learning that his wife had committed the crime, the husband took his bloody clothes and soaked them in gasoline. While burning, he unfortunately suffered burns on his legs. As for Ms. Dung, she took a shower to clean off the blood on her body.

Previously, according to recorded information, on the afternoon of September 30, people living near the market area discovered the girl lying motionless in the parking lot in the market. When they came to check, they saw that the girl had blood and wounds on her face and neck.

People took the victim to the emergency room, but the girl did not survive. Currently, Ms. Dung is being detained by the City Police. Thu Duc temporarily detained to investigate the act of "murder".

Accordingly, in the provisions of the 2015 Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017 on criminal sanctions, there are provisions on sanctions for the crime of murder with prescribed fines and crimes. determined as follows:

- The prison sentence is from 12 to 20 years, life imprisonment or death penalty if murder is committed in the cases specified in Clause 1, Article 123 of Murder. Penal Code.

- Prison sentence ranges from 07 years to 15 years: this case will not include the acts mentioned above (Clause 1 - Article 123 of the Penal Code)

- Prison sentence from 01 year to 05 years: Applicable to cases of preparing to commit murder

Thus, for the crime of murder specified in Article 123 of the 2015 Penal Code, the penalty range will be imprisonment from 01 year to 05 years, from 07 years to 15 years, from 12 years. five to 20 years, life imprisonment or death penalty.
