When the vehicle passed the intersection of Highway 22 - Nguyen Van Bua about 300 m (in Hoc Mon town, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City), the container truck had a tire explosion, causing the vehicle to rush to the right, hitting many sections of the road. "I was standing watering plants and heard a loud explosion. I turned around and saw a container truck hit many concrete blocks and scatter everywhere, then rushed towards me. Luckily the car stopped a few meters away from me," said a resident ( living near the scene) still panicked.
According to people here, when the container truck crashed, there were two people riding a motorbike nearby but luckily escaped.
At the scene, more than ten meters of concrete divider was blown away, the front of the container truck was damaged... Due to a leak in the vehicle's fuel tank, the driver had to transfer fuel to plastic cans to avoid accidents. catch fire. The accident caused traffic congestion in this area, causing a long traffic jam.
Immediately afterwards, the authorities blocked the motorbike lane to clear the scene.
Two cranes were mobilized to the scene to relocate the accident vehicle. Workers of the National Highway 22 management unit were also present to clean and reinstall the hard median strips to ensure safety for vehicles participating in traffic. The cause of the incident is being investigated by authorities.

"Blocks of broken concrete were scattered everywhere. Three people (including 2 men and 1 woman) riding on 2 motorbikes were hit by concrete. One person was trapped under the concrete, we had to rescue him. Luckily, The victims were not seriously injured, just scratches," a resident said.
According to people, after the incident, the container truck driver negotiated and agreed to compensate the 3 people riding on the 2 motorbikes. The victims then left before the authorities arrived.
At the scene, the container truck was seriously damaged, many parts were broken, the axles were broken, and the vehicle's fuel tank was thrown far away. The impact of this incident caused traffic congestion in the area for a long time.
Traffic police then appeared to regulate and distribute traffic, and resolved the scene to clarify the cause. The container truck was then towed to another place by a rescue vehicle.
