Cu Chi: Arrest those who take the property of people who have traffic accidents as their own "own"

Police have arrested a man who pretended to help, then took property from a young man who had an accident on the road. The subject then abandoned the victim and left the scene.

On March 6, the police of Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City HCMC took criminal custody of Hoang Quoc Anh (40 years old, Cu Chi district) for investigation into the act of openly taking property of people involved in traffic accidents. Quoc Anh was the one who took the property of T.A.T (27 years old, temporary resident of Cu Chi district) while T. had an accident, lying on the road.

As reported, around 0:05 on March 1, Mr. T. was driving a motorbike on Nguyen Thi Lead Street, (An Nhon Tay Commune, Cu Chi District) in the direction from Ben Dinh Street to Provincial Highway 7. When he reached the road through the hamlet of Heel, he fell himself, causing the car and people to slide. The injured victim should lie down on the road.

At about 0:12 a.m., a man riding a motorcycle came up from behind, stopped to sit down as help, checked for a while and then left. Due to the deserted area, no one passed, so Mr. T. remained at the scene.

The victim was later found by family members and rushed to the hospital with multiple scratches on his body. Through checking, Mr. T. and his family members discovered that many possessions such as wallets, necklaces as well as phones were missing.

After receiving the information, the Cu Chi District Police directed the CSHS Team to quickly investigate and prosecute. Through professional measures, the police identified Quoc Anh as the perpetrator and arrested him.

At the investigating agency, this person admitted to all acts. Police also seized related exhibits. Currently, the incident is being investigated and clarified by authorities.

Another time, seeing 2 girls on the road who were being recorded for violations, Tuan walked over and said: "Grandson, come in and call that Uncle Tuan Fan Code 36 please let go. Have you held anything of mine? Brother, remind me of it."

A traffic officer appeared and waved his hand to signal "Tuan Fan" to leave. Soon after, the 2 girls were also given away by the police. The video clips after posting have millions of views and shared with hundreds of mixed comments.

It is known that Tuan used to be a car driver. In some videos, this person incorporates many "3-in-1" shaver ads. The subject even casually sold shavers to officers who wore police uniforms while on duty.

In response to the clips posted on social media, a police officer confirmed to Dan Viet newspaper that the self-proclaimed "Tuan Pho Ma" does not have any close relationship with the police force. "This person deliberately tarnished the image of the police force," the officer said.
