On the afternoon of February 15, the police of Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City confirmed that they had invited a motorbike taxi driver to bring male student Nguyen Van Nghia to work. At the police station, he said his name was Nguyen Duc M. He worked with officials of the Eastern bus station and the Binh Thanh District Police to provide information regarding the transportation of male student Nguyen Van Nghia.
"The district police have invited the motorbike taxi driver to give testimony to clarify the information that the family members reported about the missing student," an investigator said. According to initial information, the motorbike taxi driver took Nghia from the Eastern bus station to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology area (Binh Thanh district), then Nghia got off the bus.
Currently, Binh Thanh District Police have transferred all case files to Ho Chi Minh City Police for further investigation.
